I've pretty much given up on AH for weighing trades. It is horribly slow to adapt to current pricing trends. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

It's a damn shame too, because I loved using it when it worked. Same goes for the MOTL price guide. On another note, who will be in Baltimore this weekend for the 5k?

Tell me about it...of course the worst way to figure that out is to offer a trade to someone and come off looking like a jerk trying to rip them off. =/ Magiccards.info/Ebay completed listings for now, I guess.

This is what I've been doing for quite some time now... and it seems to work the best.

Can't believe people are still falling for this trick:http://www.ebay.com/itm/MTG-Beta-Black-Lotus-Foil-Tarmogoyf-Foil-Baneslayer-Foil-Jitte-Only-3-Repacks-/330623322830?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfaaf8ace This was the highest ended auction out of the 3. The winning bidder has 1 feedback, 13 bids TOTAL on 4 items. Guess who was the seller on those 4 items? And guess who will get the one with the Beta Black Lotus?

Yep, this has happened to me a couple of times recently as well. I think I'm going to start going by eBay completed from now on.

Yes, it's very good. At my last standard tournament (not States) I went 3-0 before losing the fourth round round to a U/B deck (another really good deck in the format). I'm going to play the same deck tonight in another Standard tournament and see how well I do again. -=-=- I saw a repack auction on eBay the other day where a guy was selling something like 40 repacks and stated all the cards you *could* win, but then had as a disclaimer that he didn't keep track of all the cards, so if you bought all 40 packs, you weren't guaranteed to get them all. So, it could have been in a repack sold already, in one of the current batch, in a future batch of repacks, or it might never exist, or it might only be won by one lucky buyer, who also just happens to be his friend from the same city.

I'll admit to doing a little happy dance earlier when I saw that.

Just another Eric Horn it looks like. Pretty much why I avoid dealers at all costs even on here. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts T-84th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

After a trade and refs are exchanged is there any need to keep the trade information? If so how long would it be good to hold onto it for?

anyone buy from channelfireball recently? i got this LSV card with my order and I'm wondering if they just put them in every order. I want to complete the whole set if there is one, or get a bunch of LSVs for tokens.quote: Originally posted by Timmyhill: After a trade and refs are exchanged is there any need to keep the trade information? I usually only hold onto the PM where they say they received, and even then i hold onto that for like 2 weeks or so. No one's ever come back to me after exchanging refs to complain.

Eh. Both had problems, but Eric had an infinitely more self-righteous and terrible attitude towards everything on MOTL. Matt was (or at least appeared to be) a lot more willing to work things out on here--besides the most recent BTA (which seemed more of a failed understanding of the "buyer must receive, proof of sending is not enough" rule)--he was just insanely slow and forgetful and really shouldn't have been trading on here. quote: After a trade and refs are exchanged is there any need to keep the trade information? Keep it for as long as you think some issue might come up in the future, but if you've already inspected the cards, both sides have agreed that everything is good (by exchange of refs basically) there's no real need to keep the information.
