Ya, this feels right... Also, when doing 3 pack booster drafts of just DKA, I think I just take every Thought Scour and Mystic Retrieval I see... go mill! |

Thalia, Gravecrawler, Torch Fiend (in addition to or in place of Hearth Kami), Strangleroot Geist, Hellrider, Huntmaster, Sorin are all possible additions to the cube.

the lords are just good anyway. i could see splashing a third color just to fit one of them in. deathtouch, first strike, flying, or intimidate 2/2 is good enough for me even if i only play 1 pumpable creature. |

Uhh, what? fireball is the same cost, but players only have 20 life. Confusion is garbage. __________________"He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."

 | posted January 24, 2012 05:52 AM Confusion is kind of neat in that a mill deck might want to play a card like Ghoulcaller's Bell, think maybe a Tezzeret skeleton, with Shriekhorn. The milling of your own Increasing Confusion is beneficial and probably preferred. Not saying that it has tier 1 implications, but it's a start.

I hope you are saying that in regards to Constructed. Its fantastic in Draft where your opponent starts with 32 or 33 cards. Its like losing 1 life per turn starting at 33 (from your draw) making it very relevant. __________________Member Since 03/28/2001

 | posted January 24, 2012 10:55 AM Of course i was talking about constructed. Its a RARE. Rares are not something to count on for limited. Sure, if you open it, go for it. Its even splashable. But when given NO CONTEXT for a rare/mythic, my mind goes to constructed, because you can actually count on playing X card more than once in 40 events.

Anybody else think that there is a striking resemblance between sorin and vigo from ghostbusters 2?

Yeah, I see it. And Vigo Mortensen can play Vigo in Ghostbusters 4, Sorin in Innistrad: The Motion Picture, and Geralt in The Witcher: The Reimagining. |

 | posted January 27, 2012 09:42 AM The last two small sets had these mythics:
 Blightsteel ColossusConsecrated Sphinx
 Glissa, the Traitor
 Hero of Bladehold
 Hero of Oxid Ridge
 Massacre Wurm
 Praetor's Counsel
 Sword of Feast and Famine
 Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
 Thrun, the Last Troll
 Karn LiberatedElesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
 Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur
 Phyrexian Obliterator
 Sheoldred, Whispering One
 Urabrask the Hidden
 Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger
 Batterskull
 Etched Monstrosity
 Sword of War and Peace
Compare that to Dark Ass-ension:Archangel's Light
 Beguiler of Wills
 Drogskol Reaver
 Elbrus, the Binding Blade
 Falkenrath Aristocrat
 Havengul Lich
 Helvault
 Huntmaster of the Fells
 Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
 Moonveil Dragon
 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
 Vorapede
Even with 12 mythics vs. 10 in MBS/NPH it's still a shower of shyte? I don't see Sorin dropping at all. He has to haul all the value. |
