If you play it on turn 1, it'll probably flip right away but when you get it later, it will just suck. Or a land that makes 2 mana when flipped. And by 2 I mean 3. By which I mean 4, which is the Canadian way of saying 25.

Grand Colliseum is perfectly balanced, and i'm pretty sure the Pains are too, even if WOTC doesn't want to print good lands that don't sell sets anymore.

daner Member	posted December 01, 2011 09:47 PM This might make some weird U/R Buring Vengeance deck. Once Vngeance sticks it's pretty annoying, bc it says "one you play a spell from the GY" it never has to resolve, so like I said you get a Vengeance to stick and it might be GG. Cards like Snapcaster, Think Twice, Silent Departure, Grasp of Phantoms, Rolling Temblor, Devil's Play, Desperate Ravings, and now this.....could be a good deck! That's without knowing what's all in the next set. Also Jace, Memory Adept.....mil yourself for 10? Might be the new hotness.

Also, I never thought of using Jace to mill myself. Been using Garruk to make chump blockers and search for Snapcasters. I can't wait to see new Flashback cards. I love this block.

A new Goyf (NOT the tarmogoyf variety) cycle.. A Rare Flashback Cycle that is good.. A Flasback module spell (preferably Blue or Red) Double Sided Duals, enemy colored would rock. Either T: Add 1 // T: U/R (Condition) or T: Add U // T: R (Condition) A few new Legends, hopefully flashy ones that can be built around. Grimgrin was great for this. Burning Vengeance Reads... "Whenever you cast a spell from your GY Burning Vengeance deals 2 dmg"....no, the spell itself doesn't have to resolve. Once you cast it BV triggers.
