So my place got broken into today. Thanks god they didnt know the value of my Magic cards even though they looked through them.

No they stopped adding the reason as of the last batch of bannings.

I'm all about equal rights and gender equality but you have to pick your battles appropriately. A fringe fantasy card game that's played by (and marketed to) adult males doesn't seem to be very efficient. Try taking on Islam where their "societal norms" come a lot closer to mirroring whats depicted in the image.

He was banned in yugioh for cheating. Not surprised this happened at all. Funny because Last 5k in Indy I went to him and Alex were best of buds.

I'm sorry to hear that. my apt got broken into about 3 yrs ago and it was bad, about $4,000 worth of stuff, electronics mostly. and I didn't even have insurance. I sure hope you had renters/ home owners insurance.

And for those that don't want to watch it, it basically goes like this:

Edgar on the play, turn one plays an Island. Lays his hand down on the table in a pile (can't see how many cards). Turn 2 he draws (should be 7 cards in hand), plays a Tundra (now 6) then Stoneforge (Now 5). Before he searches for anything you can pause the video around the :50 second mark and clearly see 6 cards in his hand.

even if it was a mistake, he really should have acknowledged it and called a judge over. Otherwise, it's just a piece of evidence. Players in the spotlight need to be very careful when it comes to this sort of thing.

Is the Drudge Skeletons Swamp german mistprint somewhere around 3 dollars?

I'm trying to find a few but i didn't see anyone on here with any except for a one person who wants to sell 20 of them as a lot for 110usd.

Just won my first draft. Went with BR Aggro after being passed 2 Tragic Slips, a Hateflayer, and a bunch of 3cc and 5cc vampires.

I've never won more than 1 match in a draft, and I was somehow able to do it after being up for 24hrs at start time. Won 2 DKA packs, the FNM Despise, and rare redrafted a Snapcaster and Tree of Redemption (and 2 bulk rares).

Now all I have to do is decide between UB Zombies and Esper Spirits for the gameday tourney tomorrow.

Cheapest recent sales on ebay is $6, with a few more in the 7-10 range. I don't think $3 is very realistic.

Pardon my ignorance, but just got a transforming card and how do you get around there being no backs when decking them?

thanks. I don't like these double faced cards. Everytime you deck one you either have to have another card represent it or take it out of the opaque sleeve.

Yeah, that's lame.
For everything except the money rares you coudl just sleeve up the other side and when it transforms take that one out instead. I can't really see this being an issue (though, then again, there are lots of imbeciles in the world).
