Has anyone seen any chests/dressers for MTG cards? I want to build something nice, with felt-lined drawers, locks, etc. Looking for some ideas before I start doing it myself incase there is some obviously superior design I miss.

No they are terrible, I actually stopped buying them because of this. The cards were just not worth it and the comic was total trash.

True in the past, but $10 limited release, highly playable legacy card for $5 makes this one well worth buying.

Are they as terrible as the books? They are ridiculously hit and miss and even "okay" ones like the Ravnica ones are still pretty ugh. Time Spiral and Darksteel are most notable offenders. Read like a first draft written by somebody with severe brain damage.

Apocalypse was a good book. Chainer's Torment was fun too. The Kamigawa block novels were much better than the block. Tushiro Umezawa is a funny character.

The Kamigawa novels were excellent, in comparison to, for instance, Oddysey block. Funny that playwise it was the other way around, although I feel that more can/could be done with Kamigawa. I loved the fact that Umezawa turned out to be an ancestor (and not offspring) of Tetsuo Umezawa (Legends cycle, which are also good books). The Thran is a good place to start really, if you want to read them all. Follow up with the Brother's War cycle (entertaining IMO). The Legends cycle is nice to read. Mirrodin was meh, they could have elaborated more on some stuff. I've read all comics up until Lorwyn block, when I quit buying fatpacks. __________________ /Thunder in the wind/No rain/Peace mourns its passing/"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss

I have a feeling getting the last 30 cards to foil out my cube is going to be a real pain in the ass.

of course it will, because as soon as you think you're making progress RTR will be released and there is 30 new foils you then need.

The book Arena is still one of my favorite books I have read. I also really like the Ice Age cycle, they were really well done.
