No! It's not witty enough! Wait, this isn't the PFS GENERAL? CRUD.I always enjoy hitting up pre-releases and release events, but never stick around for fun stuff brewing the weeks after. I guess we'll see if that changes this year. __________________ Trollface, ask me about it...

Going to get my first case ever for an expansion. Traded some T2 stuff plus giving the store $260 for a case of RtR last night. It's going to be awesome!

I typically don't purchase boxes/boosters, but Zendikar was the first expansion that made me get one. I actually tried to buy a case of zendikar, but the store only let me buy 5 boxes. I've since bought innistrad and dark ascension in korean because I got them at MSRP.I'll be getting a box of RTR since I traded some duals to the shop, but the shop was only able to get English and Japanese. Which would be the way to go? It really feels like Japanese is played out unless you hit a foil. Beyond that, there is very little hope that I could manage to get a playset of anything in Japanese.

Since you are only getting a box, I would just go with English. Unless you like to gamble

Yah, I'm leaning toward english. I hate being stuck w/ bulk non-English stuff. Fairly sure I just bulked out some korean at .10 to SCG. I was surprised they took it and really just didn't want to bother w/ it any longer. Probably could have got more if I tried, but trying is so overrated.

Your first case of Ketchup? Yeah, it's a lot cheaper when you get a six pack of the 4 gallon tubs of it, isn't it?

You must not be married!? Hmm... "No wife, I cannot take you out on a fabulous dinner date, because I'd rather save the money for buying some Magic cards that are coming out next month." The result? Uhmm, not.so.good.

I am married. Have been since '09. In my case, I just remind her that we're living on student loans and it would be imprudent to go out for an overly expensive dinner. Then I would buy the magic box and make sure she doesn't find out about it.

Nope. If we divorced now, she'd owe me money since I've incurred a lot more liabilities than she has.

1. Teach her to play magic.or 2. Put enough adobo on magic cards to make them gourmet dinner. Problem solved.

I had a deck last night where I was super annoyed that i felt I was in the wrong deck. I ended up getting second and the guy I was passing to on my left got first.I found his twitter feed and he was bragging about the deck and posted a screenshot. While it was redic with 5 wolfs, a krenko and firewing phoenix that I passed him, I still felt it could have been better w/ more flinthoofs. I also just checked out my drafts folder and apparently I've done 69 M13 drafts but I believe I only bought a few tix to buy into my first one and I don't recall buying any since. Its been a fun run, not sure if its over just yet or not. Certainly not queuing now since its almost 4am and I'm too tired, but maybe tomorrow when I'm bored.

I've done 5001 M13 drafts and I never bought any packs or tix. Now I have fifteen full foil sets and a free ticket to Disneyland!

I think so. Mortars is pretty good at spot removal and it does more than a hard cast Bonfire for 3RRR, but a miracled Bonfire for 5R can be backbreaking (and probably will be once the Titans are gone). Also a hard cast Bonfire for 2-3 isn't bad, and there have a been a couple of times where a Bonfire for 1 slowed my opponent down enough that I was able get the edge.

It's hard to clear out fatties unless you miracle Bonfire. It's hard to get RRR unless you're playing some serious red sources or Lantern Don't know what to do? Should I bother getting Bonfires, they expensives.

Picking up a couple of Bonfires can't hurt, but one thing that made it great was having access to BoP and Llanowar Elves. Now we have Arbor Elf, Avacyn's Pilgrim, Gatecreeper Vine, and Farseek. I think a couple of Bonfires and 2-4 Mortars should be enough with all the other spot and mass removal available.
