If I were still in Japan I would probably consider that. But there are no large events within reasonable distance out here in Calgary, unfortunately.

I'm not a fan of alters, but if you were interested in getting a commission, expect to be backlogged at best: [URL=http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?22484-Trying-to-get-a-hold-of-Yawg09]http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?22484-Trying-to-get-a-hold-of-Yawg09[/ URL]

Has anyone ever dealt with member "chocomania", Dedi Sutendi or Dedy Sutendi? I'm asking because I checked his/her ref and there were a lot of large purchases (ideal account for a hacker) but they asked me to send first on an $86 deal. The member is from Indonesia and ask me to send to a US address and then they'd pay. It seemed awkward, anyway "not gonna happen". Just wondering if the account got hacked, or if there's someway to find out if it did before anything happens.

Did my first draft in a year last night. 3-0 with straight Izzet. Didn't drop a game all night.I could get used to doing this again. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Why does motlers value their cards at scg prices and your cards at whatever price guide is cheapest?__________________ Motl member since November 1, 2000Your 2008 & 2010 Siskel & Ebert award winner! 32nd in refs on Motl! #1 Ref's for Arizona!

I haven't drafted in a year also. First pack picked pyroconvergence, fully set on going izzet. Then an archon came around 4th pick. So in the end, I wound up with U/W/R with 2 transguild things and a carnival horse thingy. UW detainer's + red removal got the job done. I should have known picking 'Merican colors gets the job done! But I did wind up drafting with friends who never draft, so in reality I got lucky lol.

That's not even "Want to get a good deal" but trying to rip people off, difference can often be more then half SCG value, so you'd end up paying dealer trade in Prices to random people... So think it's more "I want to be a dealer" then "I want to get a good deal".... Just my 2cents.. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

Why I generally ignore people like that, if I want to deal in those kind of prices I'll trade with a Dealer, least then I know they will have exactly what I want in the exact numbers I want, and I don't have to bother with shipping or haggling unless I choose to. Otherwise I expect fair value, on both ends, anything less then that and your wasting your time, which for some people seems to be ok. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Me too. I ignore those people too. Most of the times, fair values work for both sides. But certain times, it's more of a price guide than something hard and fast.

I mainly grabbed blue in pack one and few UW cards, but had some good Izzet picks late in the pack. Took that as a sign and started grabbing red and Izzet stuff heavily in pack two. Then got some sick Izzet cards in pack three. Fairly certain I was the only person in that guild at the table. I had forgotten how annoying competitive play can be at times. My second round opponent would barely talk to me, then sat there a little sullen after the match. I'm so used to EDH group games that it was little off-putting. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Took down a GPT today with the most ridiculous sealed pool I've ever opened... Angel of Serenity, Armada Wurm, TWO Pack Rats (one foil), and a Volatile Rig got there. Last four packs were great after starting with Rest in Peace and Havoc Festival.
