Yes, and that makes it weird, but it's still a $75 card. And when you're printing money to pay your staff, might as well give them something that pays the bills. Half of these cards (minimum) end up in dealer's hands at the GPs anyway.

Judge reprints don't really seem to affect p3k prices.

Going to be buying my cousin's collection, however he is in Illinois and i am in Virgina. We're only talking about a couple thousand, but the collection is HUGE. So i'm wondering the best way to ship this? THis is not something that would fit in a few large flat rate boxes, i'm thinking like big plastic storage bins.Anyone try to mail this much before? Is storage tubs probably my best option? Most of it is in binders and such and i don't think that he will try to pull them all

I would suggest a mutual meeting place in between, like a Lexington or Cinci and hang out for the weekend, but that's just me. __________________ -Schmitty 82nd in Refs [297] on MOTL (1 behind weitz and Avatar of Might) 2nd in Refs [297] in OH-IO (66 behind souladvocate) 2nd in Posts [8003] in OH-IO (only 85 behind Val!) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

That is a terrible drive for Sovarius. He's near richmond and Lexington is a terrible place to spend the weekend. Cinci is alright. Also his cousin could be coming from Chicago or who knows where in IL. Which Chicago is the most boring drives ever. Nothing but windmills forever. Here's something to consider. How many storage tubs are you talking. I sent a collection of starwars figures in 4 tubs using a freight company. They instructed me on how and what to use to pack it. When they picked it up they just put the 4 storage tubs on a pallet and wrapped em up in plastic wrap. If I were shipping Usps or Ups or Fed Ex I would talk to them on using storage containers.

Mutual meeting is way too far on account of time to do so unfortunately. Otherwise, i probably wouldn't mind a road trip.Hm, i was only thinking usps, but Fedex or UPS or is also possible. I have never used either so i'm unfamiliar with their costs or why people even use them over another. I dunno how many storage tubs yet. I could probably also go for regular cardboard boxes actually, packing peanuts are cheap Edit: What was the freight company? Also, received a package today, short a quarter or fifty uncommon. There was a dollar and a note apologizing that the card wasn't found. I guess i should see this as a 200% refund, and i found a copy of my own anyway.

What is the prize support that wotc gives for prereleases? My friend is upset because he went 4-1 and got 4 packs(we played 5 rounds, winner got 5 packs, 23 people in saturdays event). This is the usual prize support for fnm's, 1 pack for every match win and its been the same for the prereleases as well. Just curious on how wotc usually supports these events.

2 prize packs in the pool per player.. if you had 23 people, there ought to have been 46 packs in the prize pool.. doesnt sound like it.. should report to wotc © __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

really depends how far down they're paying tho. If everyone is getting packs, they're likely giving out what is required. I feel like 2 packs a person is a tad light, especially since stores are given the boxes, but thats all our LGS pays too :/

Paid all the way down. So people that went 1-4 got a pack. Just seems like its kinda on the low side.

do the math, its about right. We had 30 people and the store gave out 2 boxes, paid the top half, I think that left first w/ something like 6-7 packs. Not my preference. WHen I do well I like to feel like I did well, but then again I do well fairly often and he wants to reward those that don't do so well so they come back. We have slightly different agendas for prize support.

Went to a pre-release on Saturday. I picked izzet and got dimir as my allied guild. I was little disapointed as that was the only combo I was hoping not to get...However, i think i did alright for myself. 2-2-1 and I won 1 pack! My first winnings in limited! Woo for me!

Odd, it worked when I tried it. Hmmm. Maybe if one goes to magiccardmarket and looks up user Magictriss, he has an amazing altered Volcanic Island. __________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. http://www.uship.com/ is an option. used this once for some furniture. Endup with some guy who ships cars, and had space on his way back from TX to CA, we pretty much paid for his gas.
