Not quite sure how elegant it is but it certainly puts inevitability front and center.
I completely misunderstood the card, I thought it meant that turn, not over the entire life of the card. I voted for the card and now I regret it

Didn't they spoil Tarmogoyf and Aether Spellbomb already? Or was that not official?

Are they really doing a spoiler for this? Seems bad to say "let's hype you up about something that you are gonna be paying more than msrp for...oh and msps is $6.99...oh and we really didn't print that many of this thing...oh and you are probably not gonna get enough people at your store to draft this...oh and we suck"

edh question here. so if you are only allowed to produce colors in your generals identity, what happens if your playing grb and i donate a celetial dawn? it no longer changes the symbols and makes all your lands plains, meaning you can only produce white mana, which you cant do so lock?

That is very likely to create a lock. "A deck may not generate mana outside its colours. If an effect would generate mana of an illegal colour, it generates colourless mana instead." http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php While you could still produce other colors through artifacts or creatures, Celestial Dawn only allows you to spend those to pay for colorless costs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the lock is from "Spells you control are white". You should still be able to tap your land for colorless mana and use it to pay for activation cost of permanents you have in play, but you won't be able to cast any spells because all your spells are now white, and your general isn't.__________________ (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ "Whip the Xs Pinch the Os What we're building, no one knows"

No. Nor their other set counterpart. Cards like Stranglehold and Celestial Force will not be found but sometime ya can find some selling or buying them in the t/a forum and trading for Commander card on their list. All the "if so and so card were to be reprinted" threads are tedious, but new threads like the one discussing what thoughtseize would be worth if it were reprinted as a rare in mm takes it to a new level. Let MM get fully spoiled before discussing its value for crying out loud.

Got my first graded card in the mail today... I wondering about the piece of paper at the top with all the info on it. Is it normal for it to look warped? Is it a sticker that comes unstuck over time? Its a PSA if that makes a difference.

It is not unusual to look warped. It is a small strip of paper set in the slab, just like the card - in grading terms they're called a "flip". In the early days they were simply computer printouts, but now they're more "fancy", for lack of a better term. Definitely not a sticker. When I first was cracking out cards I tossed 'em out, but now I save them. Last I checked I think I have over 100 . Hope this helps, Jared PS - is the card the PSA 9 Alpha Deathlace that sold recently on eBay?

It very well could be I feel I might have over paid by $50 but I managed to pick up 5 laces this month which I haven't seen more then one or two for sale at a time in a while. I really need to sell off some more cards I don't want its been an expensive month.

I thought it should have been the other way around (although I'm not complaining) considering that they like stuff being able to regenerate.

The lock is because your spells now cost white mana but you can't make white mana due to your general.
