I think I am done with bidwicket. Nobody honors prices ever.

magiccards.info displays TCGplayer, it's not two different things. Speaking of TCG though, i don't really know if i like the recent changes about who can be on there. Not that i understand them all, but i bought a Dark Confidant and it never showed up. Got in touch with the seller asking for the tracking number, said he sent it in a paper envelope. Told me he didn't have the money for tracking and i said, well i just gave you money and $1 shipping - a stamp def doesn't cost a dollar. Gave me more crap, told me he sold a lot in the last two months in paper envelopes and no one but me complained, making up crap about how TCG decides shipping, and how he can't just refund my money without tcg's permission, etc. Ugh. It's been 3 weeks and no money or confidant and i'm about to report it. Right now we are working out giving me more cards instead of money.

I wouldn't have waited 3 weeks. If it's a store I give them like 10 days.

It's also odd/interesting that people sell (really nice stuff) to them also. People are cheap but they are also stupid/lazy/desperate/wastes of DNA/(fill in the blank)... tbh, CFB and SCG have inventory and when you want to buy com/unc that's who I'd go to and not all of their prices are horrible.

He is full of ****, he can easily refund without TCG Player, also slightly in his defense he doesn't see the money you paid him until a certain amount of time passes, ~1-2 weeks without tracking. TCG Rules also state he is 100% liable if he ships without tracking, so you file a case, and you auto win. Lastly what vendor is this, cause 50.00 cards in PWE without tracking is bad business and someone I want to avoid at all cost. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. That's what i'm saying about annyone being on there. It's not a 'store', it's some guy who sold his modern deck to pay bills. quote: Originally posted by Lord Crovax: He is full of ****, he can easily refund without TCG Player, also slightly in his defense he doesn't see the money you paid him until a certain amount of time passes, ~1-2 weeks without tracking.
I know he's full of crap. He gave me a longwinded story about how he charges $1 for a stamp. I get that he doesn't see the money straight away, but if you can't afford $2 for parcel mail then you can't afford to sell online. He goes by ImperiumOfCards on TCG, dunno his name on Ebay. __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants

I think the part about TCG decides shipping is that at certain levels you get some flat rate for the shipping cost. I think later up the scale you can decide yourself. There's probably nothing in TCG's terms of service that says you can't ship with tracking, but they don't like charge the seller for it. Considering that now you're dealing with any random dude, some of them gotta be half-assed. So I suspect he sold too many Confidants, and is trying to "fall gracefully onto hot coals".

I got an offer to sell on tcgplayer and I've only purchased about 700 dollars worth of stuff through it in my lifetime. Basically anyone gets the offer. Its a waste of time though as fees are ridiculous. Id rather drop my price 5% and sell it here than pay them. You can choose any shipping rate but you can't offer discounts until you amassed enough sales. Selling limits aremuch stricter than eeBay though and you have to complete a fair number of deals one at a time before you can list a collection

The fees are comparable to eBay, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, without the hassle of optimizing your listing for the most views, or worrying if your picture is the right size. Once you get up to Level 4, you can set your own shipping rates. It's easy to move up in Levels if you're listing hot cards that will move quickly. Probably not worth it to sell low value commons/uncommons though, unless you have a bunch of other stuff listed that people can bundle in so you're not making negative money by for example, selling $0.50 worth of C/UNCs in one order.

Fulminator mage went up to 20 as well. All the 10dollar cards that weren't reprinted are climbing.quote: Originally posted by fluffycow: horizon canopy is commanding $20 now?

Leyline of Sanctity? Still stuck under ten. I haven't noticed these things either but i'm looking. I get so angry looking at inclining prices though. Daybreak Coronet went up a little bit but could get reprinted it seems. What does everyone think about Thoughtseize? Could easily find a greek theme to attach to it. Reprint next set for sure? __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants

I figure they'll probably hold out for the core set.

Anyone know where that thread about the constructive criticism of a certain website is? or WHO posted that thread I want to ask him a few questions about it.I have a friend who runs a store, and he wants to become an online store. I've made a few websites here and there so my friend wants me to make a custom e-commerce site for his store. Does anybody here know if there's a good open source e-commerce platform that would work to sell MtG, yu gi oh, comics, etc. any good advise is well appreciated. ~Myy

Do those thin sleeves that fit outside toploaders (stop cards from sliding out) have a name?

Wasn't it headumpire or headumpire2? EDIT: Definitely headumpire if you're referring to the yizgames site.

Yeah, Team Bags fir a couple of top loaders but for larger deals I recommend Graded Card Sleeves. They are just like team bags, just longer and wider. That is, if you plan to use them to package trades for shipment. I find that doing this is far preferable to tape on top loaders.
