Does anyone else find "what's the lowest you'll go for x?" To be super insulting? Do your own damn work and make an offer. If you're actually this lazy, how do you have a job that can afford the cards you want?__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

Almost every other top deck doesn't even play duals.-Landless Dredge: no duals -Lodestone Control decks: no duals -Pox: generally mono-black with no duals There are outliers, but in generally, Underground Sea, Volcanic Island, and Tropical Island are by far in the most top decks. Tundra and Bayou also make appearances, but generally 1-2 of's. I've never seen a vintage top 8 and I don't even want to imagine the shenanigans going on there.
The weird thing is Trop is the lowest priced blue dual.

But that's so much work Can you just undersell yourself AND do the negotiation for me?

I did some vintage research (and it's scary...) I think the differences are mostly due to Vintage price history, where people don't want to give up their Underground Seas even though they're becoming less oppressive. The most COMMON top 8s HISTORICALLY contain just a few decks: -UB Tendrils -UB Tinker/Blightsteel -UBr for artifact hate and blue-nerf spells (pyroblast, red elemental blast) -UBg Oath of Druids combo -Random other decks like Bazaar Dredge The 2013 Eternal Weekend Championship had a very different Vintage top 8 (http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/eternal13/welcome#6a)
There were noticeably fewer Underground Seas in comparison to past events. I think if it trends this way, Underground Sea will stabilize while the others catch up (assuming new players sell their yachts and oil refineries to buy into Vintage).

just post a buy list and they'll come to you. I've done both sides of this deal in the past, but not something I do all the time... just if the opportunity seems good.

Well, I'll give the person credit. They did make an offer. I am curious how "make an offer on my thread" got translated into "PM me an offer." __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

Anyone have a sample pauper cube list? I'm debating making one, wondering how much it'll set me back.

Clearly because he doesn't want to get ripped. Personally I wouldn't send first without their blood type and social security number.

Why not ask for a highest priority lien on their house? quote: Originally posted by oneofchaos: Anyone have a sample pauper cube list? I'm debating making one, wondering how much it'll set me back.
MTG Sally has a good cube forum, though it seems to have slowed down a bit possibly due to exams. There are some good model pauper cubes there. The mods aren't quite as trigger happy as the rest of the forum too. I basically have the MTGS cube forum bookmarked and never venture outside.

Wait, you pitched Wonder to Solitary Confinement? You then cast Opalescence and attacked with a flying Moat?Yep. P.s. And a sigil, presence and sphere of safety.

maybe that's why you haven't gotten a ref since Jan of 2011 and only have 35 refs after being here almost 9 years...maybe? Sorry, I tried but I just couldn't resist. I'm sure it's something else...

I actually got one recently. I traded heavily during when ref check thing was down so I stopped caring. Not even mad bro. I mainly just buy/sell so I haven't had a single issue. I think my last trade was literally that ref.

I live in northern manitoba canada, middle of butt-swear word nowhere, after looking at a lot of lists to make a trade I almost feel my collection is at a waste. So many people that can attend and participate in tourny's need cards I have but I hold onto them cause my playgroup is more competitive than those tournys. I would like to say I live in a mining community town and those of us that play magic can get the best of the best, not me, i'm a cook, however I have a gross collection and drop hundreds of bucks in singles every time I go to the city. Not sure where this rant is going, wish I didn't own 12 decks of awesomeness with no proxies and only played 1 or 2 decks at a fnm. Would prolly have a lot more sweetness in my bank account and not need to own 5 of every dual, shock, temple, mland, innistrad land. edit: grammar for yaku
I hate my ocd

I got you beat. Same symptoms...but I haven't played in years. If/when I decide to sell out, I can probably pay off my house and my car. Yet, I still buy a case of each new expansion. I need help.

get more grammatical errors in there paragondave, I miss yaku and I love/loved how he ripped people for being stupid. so I shall start this sentence by not capatalizing my pronoun, nor shall I make any sense by thinking that I even know what a pronoun is.
I love lamp!!

A pronoun is just a noun that has lost its amateur status. I love desk!

I keep hearing that the dude from GP Richmond that took pics of all the Kami of the Crescent Moon lookalikes got a six month suspension, but there seems to be no actual evidence of this.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

If true, I think that's a fair punishment. Publicly shaming people over something so stupid should not be tolerated in the magic community.

Still not an excuse for that kind of behavior. And let's be honest, those folding chairs they use at big events tend to be horrible in terms of covering your back. The seats are sometimes not even big enough for a person of average size to sit in comfortably, let alone someone who is overweight. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Yea, let's blame the chair for not covering asscrack. I guess they also ban belts at these events too __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread
