I think somebody predicted bitter blossom as an unban because ten minutes to announcement they were gone everywhere. Losing DRS is sad but he was way better in legacy anyways.

Now comes the time where people are coming out in full force to try and get bitterblossoms for 30$ on the MOTL sales lists.

I should just list bitterblossoms for 30 just for the free ups.

EDIT: Also, the new judge foils are Entomb and Karador, Ghost Chieftain. Really, really low value rewards for the judges.

There were 2 spikes, sub-$15 to $30+ about a week before the announcement. Then the spike post-announcement that took it from $30+ to $80+ (or whatever it is now).

So moving aside from potentially illegal action on the part of some WOTC employee (abuse of insider knowledge of 'commodities', etc)...

The new MTGS website looks about as bad as a rotting corpse smells.

yah, I was shopping for them a few hours before the announcement and there were just zero on ebay and TCG had next to nothing as well. Wasn't too shocked, just wish I had found a foil prior to the unbanning. Was wanting a foil at $50ish... there goes that idea.

For what purpose? Selling it, insuring it or just out of curiosity? I had mine appraised by a local dealer that I trust.

Heirach spiked because it's the next best mana dork behind deathrite. People figure that any deck that needed the accel will migrate to it.

Dark depths spiked because lands and pox variants ('jund depths') have won or top 8'd several of the last SCG legacy tournaments, both using dark depths as a finisher.
