Maybe Kozilek instead? Emrakul was the pre-release promo after all.

Here come the damnation sale threads. That card will definitely be reprinted as it was an obvious omission so far.

If Decree of Annihilation isn't in this product they failed at naming. Unfortunately they already set precedent by leaving Disciple of the Vault out of the banned set.

I suspect Magus of the Disk will make it.

The deck has horrible value. I'd much rather have all the value in 2 18.00 Stoneforge Mystics. The least they could have given was a Temple, a Whip of Erebos and an Underworld Connections so you'd at least get your 25.00 back in playable cards. As it is, if someone wants to play black, they are better off buying singles than this event deck. This is easily the worst event deck Wotc has made. Even when they were doing two decks, if one was weak, the other more than made up for it. This one is a whole lot of fail.
The SFMs were 8 each at the time the deck was released. The inkmoths from the K-red event deck were 10 a pop at the time of release. Thragtusk was 15 at the time of that vent release. Seriously, look them up. This event deck has the best "release date" value of any standard event deck so far. Sure, there's not a lot of value long-term, but honestly the standard event decks shouldn't really focus on such things.

That's not true. They were 18. I bought some of these decks and sold the SFMs on ebay for profit. Moved the other stuff locally for more profit. War of Attrition and Vampire Onslaught blow this piece of garbage away. 2 10.00 Inkmoths are better value. The red artifact deck with 2 Goblin Guides, Sigmal Pest, Memnite, Wardriver was better. Any of the Thragtusk decks were better (the first one was when he was 25 not 15). Any of the decks with Shocklands were better, ect. You really have to look hard to find a worse deck such as Illusionary Might, but the Vampire deck more than made up for it. Dealers buying these are going to take a beating.

stand alone sets like this are normally NOT standard/modern legal. just like commander and archenemy, expect them to be eternal legal only. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

I wonder what the chance is of True-Name Nemesis being reprinted in Conspiracy. Considering that Conspiracy is a meant for multi-player free-for-all games, it seems like it would be the perfect fit for the set.

why would TNN, over all other cards, need to be reprinted so soon?

+1 They have these sets developed a year ahead. They probably didn't know the impact that TNN would have. I don't see it being reprinted anytime soon.

Just for the record/flavor/functionality, I don't see why rolling earthquake hits flying creatures. __________________ -Schmitty, MOTL's Psychiatrist 70th in Refs [328] on MOTL (2 behind inca911) 2nd in Refs [328] in OH-IO (87 behind souladvocate) 1st in Posts in OH-IO (Passed the legendary ValMTG) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place" - Rick Pitin

Because they aren't sitting on horses. Rocks fly up from the ground, and anybody not shielded by a horse carcass will be damaged. Obviously.

There's that angel they spoiled where all the players vote on what happens. Good chance all those cards are banned. The other card they spoiled affects drafting so that's probably out as well.

This is what I am thinking as well. Though the fact that they are printing 13 new cards that are not Eternal legal is very intriguing. Will they also be banned in Commander?

I would assume if they are multiplayer driven they would be ideal for commander. We will see tho.
