I disagree. With earnings over 700mil per quarter and up 75% year over year with virtually no debt, the potential outweighs the negatives. I feel profitability is inevitable for them, especially with the footprint they own in Europe. They are a much bigger company than people give them credit for. They'll shake off any lawsuit thrown at them. This isn't a dying albatross like AMC or GME.

Time will tell though. It was originally a 20 share flyer of an investment, but there is a lot more research in to their fundamentals going on with gamma squeeze potential.

I took a quick glance at their annual reports, and
my concern is, the company has never had a profitable year. The bigger they get, the more money they lose.

The good thing is, significant portion of their operating expense is from marketing, which they can scale back if desire, but $1.6 billion of annual marketing expense to generate $2.5 billion of revenue is definitely not something I am happy about as an investor.

Industry wise, I am also not sure about the future of a company that sells mostly knockoffs or low end products from China with long delivery time. Everything else you can get from Amazon.

In all, something else needs to happen for me to like this company as a long term hold.

imo, it's were the story should have gone, instead of Innistrad. The Baron would have been a threat on the level of an oldwalker (but since no current planeswalker has that level of power except for Bolas since he is an elder dragon,) it would have actually been an interesting story.

Someone finally stumbles through Feroz's ban somewhow, get caught by Baron, he uses them to activate the Dwarven Gate, and then marches the entire might of all of ulgrotha turned vampire, into it - coming out... somewhere new, and interesting.

The first set would be on Ulgrotha, the second set would be mostly on Ulgrotha, with some minor tidbits of the new world, and a third set would be the new world being caught with their pants down by the Baron's og vampires.

Almost like a Phyrexian invasion, but replace completion, by sanguination

There'd be no werewolves there. Lots of humans though. Fanatic ones.

You could think of a rivalry between vampireclans of Sorin and the Baron, and the Humans (or whatever else is there) and Werewolves. Everyone fighting everyone.

The Ulgrothian Werewolves (re: Greater Werewolf, Veldrane, etc...) under the control of the Baron, unlike the Innistrad werewolves under no control. That's an interesting plot point as well.

But, I do like like Baron playing the charismatic vampire lord, using 'willing' pawns/fanatic servants vs. the Vampire "nobles" of Innistrad and their rather unwilling human slaves.

+1: Create a 1/1 Vampire creature token with lifelink
-1: Sacrifice a non-Vampire creature: You gain 1 life and draw a card. Creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn.
-5: You get an emblem with: At the beginning of an end step, if a non-vampire creature died this turn, create a 1/1 Vampire creature token. Vampires you control get +1/+1 and have lifelink.

I dunno. Maybe too much vampires fixed. I miss the card-making challenges

Nah, no need to Planeswalker-ifey the Baron, he's already strong enough.

Remember, he used to fight pre-Mending planeswalkers, and it is unlikely that the Mending stripped HIM of his power.
