I got out of SOFI when it was $10ish. I made some money off it initially, and then the ship started sinking. I think I ended up losing a few hundreds, lol.

I have been buying Hasbro lately though as a long hold investment. Hopefully they will still be around when I retired.

Foil + Non foil x 3 versions (Regular, Borderless, Retro Border but Sutfin art) x 8 languages (English, Japanese, S-Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) and I want 4 copies copies of each or 192 cards...it's a bit of a project.

Fighting cancer is the main thing. I've absorbed about every type of chemo there is over the last few years. I've also done a CAR T trial which was amazing and it left me cancer free for a year and a half. Nice to get a break from the chemo and grow my hair back. Now I'm trying to get into an antibody that might have a similar result. If I don't get in the trial, things will be dire. My docs always remind me that my cancer is very aggressive and everything has been tried and failed already.

In lighter news, I've also written a bunch of fantasy novels. The first three were garbage so those are hidden under the bed but the ones after that I'm quite proud of. Currently I'm on book 3 of a trilogy involving a linguist that gets hurtled through time, saving the world while getting hunted by other time traveling foes. Making the different times and eras come alive is an absolute blast, but it's exhausting spending more time researching than writing.

And I'm still playing magic. Commander only. I have a foiled out captain sisay deck and also the 5-color sisay deck which has a few flex cards so she can cheat out slivers, dragons, or her weatherlight crew, or whatever I feel like surprising people with that day. I also have Meren and I'm building a Rocco deck that abuses food chain shenanigans but also has a goblin theme.

1st of all, I was very humbled to realize just how much bigger Australia is than I thought it is.
