Well, it had gotten to a great spot. I had completed the "global playset project" had like 200 artist proofs, then for OF I have over 2000 copies including over 100 foils plus I own the artist's original sketch. But then they started reprinting like crazy. The January reprint broke me. 48 different versions:

Man! I have NO artist proofs at all. I have several signed copies, but I've never been able to meet the artist that created the original artwork. If I did, I'd probably never stop bothering them, lol.

Every now and then I'll crack open a box of them and just start looking at them. Can't help but laugh at the sheer ignorance of it all, lmfao.

I'm moving to AZ next May, and admittedly, the thought of moving across the country with them may or may not be causing me headaches already! Don't think I'd ever bring myself to get rid of them though.

The last I checked my numbers, there are at least a few hundred errors, most of them coming from the newer printings. That said, a few years ago an associate of mine reached out to me about a misprinted Nantuko Shade.

The owner was claiming he had a NM Torment foil that had multiple stampings of the Torment symbol throughout the name, but the set symbol itself was missing from where it's supposed to be.

The moment I told the guy I wanted to see it, and if it checked out, I was prepared to offer north of 125k, he backed out. He wouldn't even do so much as to send me pictures. I kept increasing my offer, even going as far as offering cash to just see it. Eventually he dropped off the earth. A few months later, that "associate" vanished as well.

I'm convinced it doesn't exist, but hey, if anyone happens to find it, I'll offer a huge commission, lol. But every quarter, I hire a small team to reorganize my collection, so I can have them take note of all of the misprints, and update this thread at some point. I'm rather curious myself now, hah.

It took years of reaching out to Mike Sutfin but I finally got ahold of him and that has been great. I've gotten over a hundred artist proofs directly from him. I've sent him thousands of dollars lol. Unfortunately, my interactions with Jim Nelson have been negative. He has proven not to be dependable at all for me (though I know he has for others). Definitely try and reach out to the artist.

Luckily I was smart enough to hold onto some stuff. I'll have to do an inventory.

Would get into collection folklore, but would rather talk about hanging out in the not so distant future and playing some cards

Note, saw the comments on stone rains and lava-mancers, I'm still looking for a summer Juggernaut to finish off the collection. That is unless there's something new I have no idea about!
