I'd recommend drafting at side events if you aren't going to play the best cards possible in your deck.

Play something else? You can win without jace, just not in caw-blade.

I need some sleeve finding help: Short story:I put together a fun-themed kitty (cats) deck for one of my best friends, because...she loves cats and super-casual magic. But i need to get sleeves for it; and the only two cat -related sleeves I've seen are either A. Ugly, or B. have Ajani on them, and she is not a fan of planeswalkers at all. So, /b(MTG) any one know of some fun/cool/nice looking cat-theme/pic sleeves? __________________ Joz - can we ban Leshrac for not fixing the Chrome PM issue?Gunslinga - If I thought it would help, and if I could, I would.

Make your own sleeves out of printer paper by cutting out pieces and taping them together. Be sure to make all the pictures the same so that she doesn't get DQ'd for marked sleeves. She'll like that you're artistic.

I think that was sarcasm.... I'm not convinced you can TAPE paper together consistently enough to pass as legal in a tournament.I wonder if there is a place that does custom sleeves... Edit: What's a good way to ship cards in bulk? I mean like whole sets at a time, to 500 cards, to 3000 cards. Do cards fit nicely in any of USPS flat rate boxes? Anyone have an approximate idea of what it would cost to just send am 800ct box?

Pffft, like my nephew could hold all those in his pathetic 6 year old weakling arms. Someone's getting an ugly kid with a handful of drooled on, warped cards. Honestly, kids are just bad people.

When dealing with cards, they're the absolute worst.

What should I run in a UB SOM Block Constructed Deck? Geth's Verdict, Grasp of Darkness, Dismember, Go For The Throat or Grim Affiction?

I'm playing in Nationals and planning on playing a jace-less deck. Basically a deck that hoses caw-blade but nothing else. It's hard to find a deck that has more than a 53/47 chance against it though.

Yea probably. Although i am not familiar with block constructed as much as i am T2 - their might be more artifact heavy decks. Edit: Oh and what is a good place for a deck search? I'm basically trying to compare my version of a deck to the best, tournament winning versions. I'm playing mono-green NO Progenitus but i haven't actually seen what makes up the tier one decks. It's just stuff i had lying around

Not sure about some the suggestions, but the standard suit of Green Sun's Zenith, accel, fetches, and maybe Xantid Swarm/Gutteral Response/Vexing Shusher?

Thought process when you go into a draft, lets say the current format...you open a pack, what are your steps in deciding what to pick?
