So why don't they want us to play Dredge in Modern? __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Serra Angel Count: 274 Nightmare Count: 107 DCI Rules Advisor PlasteredDragon - Gone but not forgotten

It's not combo...it's alternative aggro.__________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Serra Angel Count: 274 Nightmare Count: 107 DCI Rules Advisor PlasteredDragon - Gone but not forgotten

won't dredge work with a 5 and 4 instead of a 6 and a 5? You still have stinky and thug. I'd think it would be playable still.

Ha! Yes, those are pretty awesome! Enforcer's angle is very intimidating. I have already messaged you about them without realizing you had posted here, oops. As far as cards being devalued when reprinted, i have recently decided to believe that is true only with higher dollar cards. There's been cards i've seen lately worth only 2-3 dollars that have been that way since i played with years ago. But now with the duel decks and promo sets and planechase and timesprial they should have gone down. I admit i could be wrong but i am pretty certain that Undead Warchief has been around 2.5 since before TSP reprint. Something like T2 Titan or Jace or Stoneforge, they would visibly be hurt with a reprint.

Is it me or does it seem harder and harder to trade these days? I send out requests based on apathy/magicinfo/whatever priceguide ppl list as preferred on their H/W list only to be greeted by a lot of ignores. So many traders don't have the decency to say they are not interested or why. Forget counteroffering... seems like no one under 50 refs is capable of that. /rant

Question from salvation: "I'm a relatively new player looking to buy singles online, and I was wondering why most cards on StarCityGames are much more expensive than those at the other stores. Is there any special reason for this?" Reply from Moderator: "They have 99.9% of everything in every language in stock & have a reputation for honesty. You pay more for peace of mind; it'll show up if you order from them." -AnnorexReally....That is quite the funny response. 99.9% of everything....

/this When I first joined a few months ago (and before I had 20 refs,) it was very hard to find trades. Its less hard now, since I can trade with people i've traded with before. But to your other point...I get one reply (about) for every 10-15 messages or posts I make. And I'm doing alot of trading down in my offers, or making offers where the individual cards involved are usualy around the same amount. But we've traded before TK, so if there's anything off my list you need, let me know and I'll try to find something off your list I would trade for, even if I don't need it.

I wonder how they came up with this ban list. Must just not want it turning into same ol' decks?

Maybe a list of what they feel would make the format fair. However I'm surprised that vial isn't on there.

The best part is that Top is banned. Good lord that card is a time sink.I'd still rather have "Modern" start with Masques.

If you post an offer on my list for my crap wants using apathyhouse prices, I'd just ignore it. Not that you would, but I got tons of those offers. i.e. LG Temptest Efreet is $2 on Apathyhouse, but I can get it for way less than that, percentage wise, from a retailer. Why would I even bother? Edit, Not only that, nobody reads my rules, and keep offering me 8th Edition Fungusaurs, when I clearly state I want Limited or FBB. /rant __________________ #1 in posts from Brazil!#3 in Refs from Brazil; Got any Portuguese Foils? Simple rules of trading... Do this....Type 2 for Type 2...Vintage for Vintage....Good for Good....Crap for Crap Very few people want...Type 2 for Vintage...Crap for Good..and so forth or you will just get ignored or said no to. If you don't like it try to find someone else or get better cards.

...I think this might be up there on the worst advice I have heard here for awhile. Why not just match up the lists of haves and wants and say "if this doesn't work lets work it out" and then if they don't get back to you it isn't worth your time

How does NPH compare to other sets for fun drafting?Me and 3 or 5 friends are going to booster draft a box of something, and I havn't decided what box I want to use yet. I've done a draft with Zen, and it was kinda boring (for me,) and WW is still far to expensive per box and ROE...was suckage. So, I'm thinking either NPH (how was it?) or waiting for M12? which FYi..apparently has two cards spoiled? http://castlesandcooks.com/magic-the-gathering-spoilers/magic-2012-spoiler/ __________________ Joz - can we ban Leshrac for not fixing the Chrome PM issue?Gunslinga - If I thought it would help, and if I could, I would.

I personally quite liked RRR drafts and prefer it over all the other t2 set drafts.
