MM, have I ever mentioned how much I look up to you in the manner by which you respond to things you find ridiculous (not meant as an expression passing judgement on this current debate on whether or not the post was spam)? Re: mtg.com reprint of 1995 article.Geeeez.... Baron Sengir was actually ON the curve at one point as a 3BBB 5/5 flying vampire. Even as 3UBR he wasn't total trash.

Aaaah, but as design is fond of pointing out, whenever something new is introduced, it should be done as close to the crap line as possible so that future sets can expand upon it  In all seriousness though, you just know there's going to be a Baron Sengir homage thrown somewhere in Innistrad. __________________

That worked so well for Storm, Imprint, and Affinity, eh?
(Though better examples are half of the abilities in Ravnica, most of which were gimped by being sorcery speed or awful like Hellbent). There will probably be at least one or two black legends. One will probably regenerate target vampire. I really really hope he doesn't tap to do it though. I don't really want to be tapping my huge fatty to regenerate something not as large.

Jace didn't come in, so I filed a eBay dispute. Do these things usually give money back? It's been a week, and I messaged him twice after the expected delivery day with no response back.

Medina said to invest in Modern staples over Legacy...I think enough people are invested in legacy we shouldn't have a vintage redux. I think we can safely have modern/legacy/standard without necessarily hurting any of the other formats. A lot of legacy players already have cards they need for modern, no idea why you can't just play both formats.

I like this... but the global collector part of me cringed a little. I need to get some money flowing and time to catalog huge stacks of islands and start picking up more.

Wow! Magic must be doing great since it's back in Korean. Great news, now give something like FoW reprint - imagine it being in foil and korean  Only new frame would spoil it somewhat. Oh, wishful thinking

New korean cards may not be as prized this time around. The old ones are because they are more rare (aka pimp) than anything else. I would almost bet that russian stays #1, just because of how damn hard it is to get them out of russia. __________________

if you're talking about something such as a foil delta, then chi > eng, but if its a playset of standard cards, then eng > chi.

So Innistrad will have a Planeswalker with 5 loyalty abilities. Consider me dubious about the proposition of this being a good thing/working out well.

I actually took it as having multiple 5 loyalty abilities, since I don't see how 5 abilities would fit in a text box unless it was extended or something.

I want wizards to actually either do away with mythic rarity or to actually print cards that fit it. The leader of all werewolves would fit nicely as a mythic, while something like Batterskull makes no sense at all.
