I don't have paypal and don't want it personally. I could only do sale by cash, but because of my amount of refs, I doubt anyone would send first to me anyways if I sold the Taiga.

What's so bad about sending out and then receiving money? If it's to someone with good refs. Dealing on MOTL isn't a one-way street. Frequently enough, low-ref/non-ref members post on the sales forum and expect payment first almost as if it's a legitimate expectation to have in the first place. Recently a former member made a big fuss about receiving 2nd on a deal in which he automatically assumed was simul-send. Forgetting the fact that he still received and wasn't ripped after sending first, what shred of sense does he have that would lead him to rightly assume it's simul-send if he had under 10 refs.

If you want payment first, sell on ebay or build up more refs here. It's just common sense not send first to someone with 4 refs on what will probably be a $50+ deal. If you sell to a person with decent refs, there should be no reason to worry about getting stiffed. A Postal Money Order is your safest bet, Cashier's Check for overseas (haven't used these yet), or check if you have a bank account. Sending cash by mail is asking for trouble. If you post decent scans front/back that should eliminate any possible condition confusion and at the very least show that you've put some effort in and are serious about selling. quote: Originally posted by iccarus:

As a rule for trading online I generally avoid people who seem to be hiding something.

What is up with all these european buyers coming here and bothering to post buylists with lower than store prices? Are they stupid? Or haven't they figured out they'd make more money if they offered MOTL price and got way more sales?__________________ #2 in posts from British Columbia!Got any Portuguese Foils? They'll haggle lower for lower prices and then after that they want free shipping.

because our banks charge a lot to do that. $30 I think it is? Also as for being safe, I'm not sure how. Its basically like sending western union or something. Someone gets the money, there's no recourse to reverse the transfer or such. At least you can fight it out w/ paypal.

Mostly this, though I do know that my bank (Chase) offers their own kind of PayPal service that they claim doesn't cost anything to send or receive (even if the other person isn't a Chase customer) and I've offered to try paying with it a couple times but nobody wanted to be my guinea pig. On another note, what is it with sellers listing a Sales thread and then never replying back to any of the inquiries? I've posted on a couple showing interest in cards that nobody else showed interest in (to that point at least) and early enough that I don't think someone sent a PM instead but I never hear back and they never check back in on their list. Why post it in the first place?

crazy stuff on the 30 dollar fee.when i send money nationally, i pay 40 cents. 40 cents. And thats only if i send the money to another bank, if its an account within my chain of banks, its free. As long as i use my netbankning or an ATM to do the transfer.

And in Switzerland, not too surprisingly, it's free if you do it online, otherwise 0.5% or so applies. We even have an ebay substitute that only charges 4% fees.

If it was possible to PM you on a modern browser I would, but: I'll take your LoA and I have duals.

You know, I had pretty low expectations for FTV:Legends but after seeing the full list, I can't believe how disappointed I am. The Development team totally dropped the ball on this one.
