No Xiahou Dun wtf. Far too many bad alara reprints wtf. Cheapest FTV ever. They didn't even print the GOOD p3k legends! Where's Lu Xun and Sun Ce and whatever? Piffle.

yeah its pretty bad, I should have a shot at getting one at retail if i can't not touching it. Not even all that great for EDH. Sharuum, the Hegemon? Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre? really? really? All most all the cards are from the last 4 blocks. only card remotely interesting is the new art Visara the Dreadful.

I really like the sharuum art. I dislike a lot of the choices, but at least if they stay this way they might be obtainable rather then retailing at $70 on release day. Now I don't feel like I have to have it, right in line w/ the random bad This vs That decks and such. Solid imo.

Let's face it, no matter what they pick, people won't be happy with it.Also the new Visara art is awesome.

While rare, there are good, old-face legends, for crying out loud! It would have been cool to see two cards for the same legend, like the Balthors or like the Braids, but I figure a lot of people would have complained more about that. Tetsuo Umezawa would have been a flavorful reprint. Maybe its because Time Spiral printed a lot of dudes that hadn't seen play before, but had a lot of impact on the early sets' storylines...

Yeah FTV: Legends should have just been a reprint of the 15 most expensive cards from Legends!RAA!

Yeah, no Xiahou Dun makes me unhappy, but I don't really have a problem with most of the other picks though. Cao Cao is probably the only thing in there that will not see quite a bit of EDH play. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Garoyle. Send them my way.

The Invasion thru Shadowmoor selection is pretty good. However, there are too many cards from Alara block and Zen Block. They want people to put out $35 with most of the cards just reprints from recent sets. I just don't see it happening. The new card is weak. The P3K cards are weak. If they weren't going to put a chace card like Xiahou Dun in the set, they shouldn't have loaded the set with 1-2 dollar cards. This set needed a few more older and more desirable cards rather than Omnath, Kresh and Sharuum. This is your new FTV set, FTV:Fail.

I was hoping for either Xiahou Dun or Vendilion Clique. I'm a little disappointed.__________________ Looking for misprinted Commander decks. Got one? Talk to me.

Me too. Or at least some from the original Urza's/Weatherlight storyline (Gerrard, etc..).

And not 8 cards that are still extended legal plus a weak new card. I thought this was From the Vault, not Cards We Found Lying Around the Office.

Man I hope everyone hates it as much as you MOTLers seem to (for the most part). This one might actually go for MSRP! Although I think it's way better than the Dragons one, and that one went for bucks anyway. You still get some cool foils out of the deal.

I don't get the bob bandwagon and I played Junk until I sold my bobs for $25, should have held on for a couple more weeks it seems. I've even bobed turn 2 and turn 3 flipped force of will a couple times only to get like 2 free land later. So I know he's good. However, he's disappearing from Legacy and has fallen out of place in Team America. The last 3 that won didn't have confidant and ironically the Team America's that got first didn't have confidant while the ones that only top 8ed had them...I still don't think he has a place in Modern. The reason he is good in Legacy is because of Top and the low mana curve. I expect the mana curve to be around 3 for modern and maybe even 4. Also with only Shocks you are going to be paying 2 life to not lose tempo. For my Junk I had to remove Thoughtseize and bring in Inquisition because the life loss from fetchlands, bob, and thoughtseize was just too much. I expect a very feared play in Modern is going to be a turn 2 mystic turn 3 batterskull. Thoughtseize is the only discard card that can get both so you will have to run it, if you use 1 Black discard. The only deck that I can see running bob would be a lifegain deck because bob, shocks, and fetchlands is a LOT of self damage. I'd put Bob at like 16 and I do agree that he was under valued for a long time. But 35 is just way too much.
