It's too bad goblin welder isn't a legend. He would have made a neat EDH commander. __________________ Bid on my volcanic island with cheap new cards! |My Angels~My P9 l""|"\__, |~~My #1 Angel~~l'_|'_|_|) |(@)(@)""***|(@)(@)**|(@)

Kinda makes me not want to buy much that is PSA graded anymore...
Is it the PSA card in the Beta set SCG has?

That was my guess, either that or maybe something from that guy on eBay with ridiculously overpriced graded stuff.

So i'm to the point where I have a collection that is likely to big for my needs, i play standard and that's about it.What's the best way for me to shrink my collection into something less bulky other than doing a massive sale? Everytime i think about selling stuff i get this stupid nostalgic feeling and decide against it. :/ __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

Put them in a box.. and hide them in your attic. Then once you forget about them.. they will be like a buried treasure once you find and open them up!

A lot of the kids at my church want to learn to play mtg, but their parents are burnt out from paying for Yugioh and pokemon. So thats where a lot of my extras go.

Here. Jared Kohler won with Fish. Rest of Top 8 was: Team America, 2 NO RUG, Reanimator, Zoo, Non-LED Ichorid (Dredge?), and a Stoneblade.

You could sell me all your old, beat up, big-money cards like P9 and workshop. ...oh wait...you did already. Do you have any other big stuff for sale? __________________ Bid on my volcanic island with cheap new cards! |My Angels~My P9 l""|"\__, |~~My #1 Angel~~l'_|'_|_|) |(@)(@)""***|(@)(@)**|(@)

I haven't broke out my Vintage deck in over a year. I know what you mean.

I could have better uses for it like paying a chunk of my mortgage, but I'm having a hard time with the nostalgia.

You get over it really really quickly if you don't have a regular outlet to use them. I sold mine a few years ago to help pay part of the down payment on our house, and it was the right call. They had not been used in over a year at that point. Every once in awhile I feel like I want to own them again, but I get over it pretty quick when I realize I have no friends playing vintage and no local tournaments to use them in. The same goes for most of the other $100+ cards I have sold since then, although I wish I'd kept all of my drains. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Garoyle. HELP!I just bought a box of cards from someone, there was a ton of cards that were "water" damaged. Its likely soda or something as a bunch of the cards stuck together. I solved this problem by throwing those ones away. I ran into a goblin piledriver though and I'd like to attempt to save it. It has a corner of it stuck to another card. Anyone know of a safe way to get them apart? With the commons I found stuck together when I pulled them apart it would rip the paper from the front of one card or back of the other.

If my EDH deck is GB, I can't play Simic Guildmage can I? Even if I only use his Green Ability?__________________ -Schmitty 7th in Refs [191] in OH-IO (Catching up to jmedina) 2nd in Posts [5763] in OH-IO (Have a long way to go to catch Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

trying this here in a min.... crossing my fingers the card stuck to the piledriver was a dripping dead, lol. Steaming didn't help much. If I had done it much more I think it would have done more harm then good. The paper that peeled off was from the trash common, so maybe I can remove the stuck on bits from the piledriver. This is annoying. Funny thing, the terrible commons the guy had in the collection were in sleeves, the cards i bought the collection for were just randomly in there and very worn. edit: I think trying to fix it did more harm then good. Either way its GD condition. Oh well. Can't complain too much for paying $5.

It's signed by Saito.
