Well he said in a casual light. I've been running into a fair bit of RDW myself

yah, I don't play anything outside of EDH on mtgo right now. I just have a buddy that I chat with while he plays standard so I live vicariously through him on mtgo. He typically buys whatever the cheap deck is (this time mono black infect) and proceeds to do poorly with it. I then con him into getting a good deck together and he starts running better. He decided on wolf run green, the variant used to beat the mirror, and I'm not sure it was such a hot choice.

That stupid tree is a pretty formidable obstacle for RDW

How do you tell the difference between the 2 versions of Hasran Ogress for Arabian Nights? For the other cards its by the colorless mana symbol but Ogress doesnt have a colorless in the casting cost.

...can't wait for Masques block on MTGO. Even with 4x Gush, Gro just doesn't work without Intuition/AK. Power would be a plus too...

Nice. But isn't it vulnerable to hate?

What are some places internationally that you guys have had a horrible experience with? I am getting a few international traders and I am not sure if I should commit to some of these trades without asking for registered shipping. thanks guys

Extremely. But it really depends on the hate your opponents bring in, your anti-hate, how well the opponent knows the matchup, and how good the dredge player is.

LEDless with Sphinx and Flame-Kin. I wanted to play Firestorms maindeck but I can't find anyone who can trade at least 3 one shot :/

None I think. I even did a trade with someone in kazakstan or afghanistan (this was before the war) I would use the value of the cards you are sending as a determinator of whether you register the post or not, not where you are sending it to. Then again who knows about sending to North Korea!

The places people usually have issues with are Italy/Spain/Brazil. My personal experience has been that these countries are actually fine. I still get a little worried, but not anywhere as much as before. I had an issue with South Korea, but there's no way to find out if the package actually got lost or not.

Kinda hilarious to ask for basic shipping for a bunch of uncommons and get a reply stating that it will be $15+

Having stuff lost is a hassle. You have to give a full refund, so you're eating money. You often get accused of being a ripper or BTA'd or something if you say "just wait a bit longer, it takes over a week for cards to go from Casablanca to the North Pole". You most likely won't get a ref even if you're prompt. And losses are always suspect even if the other guy is 100% honest. That said, there's way more risk-adverse people here than when I started. It's at the point where I'd rather go on ebay and buy off there, where I'm guaranteed cheap shipping and the ability to get a refund unless I really want something or its a big enough deal.

o_O I'm probably one of the more risk averse people here and this is going overboard. Unless your "bunch" means 100+ or your "uncommons" means FoWs and stuff.
