had a little kid show me his unsleeved deck he was proud of with the crimped Jace:TMS. Sadly it was well played by that point. We still bought him some sleeves.

Yea, see stuff like that a lot, or people without enough sense to keep track of stuff and misplace 1k's worth of cards. My Favorite right now is a Vampire deck, no sleeves with Olivia, new 4/1 hasty, and other 5-10 rare/mythics in it. or the no sleeves Sword of F&F's...yes plural. Oh Oh, Duals that got thrown in with basic lands and spent 10 years in a moist area, 10 duals that got stuck together so bad, they took pieces of each other off when you separated them. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Bigger toploaders in PWE, if taken to the PO to be sent, actually end up in the next price category (ie bubble mailer pricing). Had this happen too many times. More than 4 cards in a toploader become too rigid. __________________ <Jazaray> LIQ! <Jazaray> you broke MOTL <Liq> totally <BoltBait> Don't make me kick you <Slinga> Have no fear, MOTL's janitor is here! <nderdog> So we're all agreed, it's Liq's fault, right? <Leshrac> let me deal with that * Liq has been banned

Someone will ask for it: http://www.gatheringmagic.com/adamstyborski-03202012-venser-vs-koth-decklists-revealed/ They are horrible, I'll take the emblems though I guess.

My impression of the deck: Sweet, new-face Flood Plain and Sigil of Sleep. And regards the EDH ban list, "At least they didn't ban some other card that Sheldon lost to."

Anyone have experience selling high value stuff on eBay that can give some advice on how to protect myself from possible scams? I basically don't want someone to pay via paypal and then try to try and scam me once I ship or transfer the cards over. It's not that big of a deal for small value cards as people typically don't scam on $50 deals, especially if you shipped with DC# so they know they can't win on "item not received" cases.I can think of a) "no refunds" b) collection sold "as is" and c) shipping via express mail, fully insured, and with signature confirmation (as required by eBay for sales over $250 for seller protection) but I'm not sure if there's anything else I need to do. That sounds like it will protect against "item not received" cases but not necessarily an "item not as described" case. I guess I could require local pickup like I'm asking for on here.

I'll get one because I collect the duel decks, but I'm not overly excited about this. The alternate artworks are cool, but they're nothing to write home about. We already have an alternate PtE that's going to be tough to beat (assuming you are a HUGE fan of Rebecca Guay's stuff like me).I do like the emblems, and I wonder when we will be getting one for Elspeth, Knight Errant. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

It's worth noting that if you DON'T take it to the PO and put the lower postage on there, they may charge the recipient the rest of the postage. It sucks having to tell someone that I'm doing a 3rd Party for that they owe me more money because the sender screwed me. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. is there a way to find what cards from Urza's Saga were eventually FOILED?I know Serra Avatar, Elvish Lyrist, Lightning Dragon, Rewind, Stroke of Genius, and Gaea's Cradle off the top of my head. I know the Lands were too...what are these going for now? [Each] Also, what is the history behing Euro, Arena and Guru Lands? AKA what was the purpose, how were they given out, etc.? Which are worth more (relative to the Saga FOILS). How would you be able to determine the difference between a Mercadian Masques ARENA foil and regular booster FOIL land? Looking at pictures, now I know why the Euro lands are so expensive...they're beautiful. Looked them all up: http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Promotional_cards
DAMNIT. Now this makes me want to seriously get one of each APAC, GURU, EURO land as well as all the old bordered FOIL Arena Lands. UGH. Damn you, Magic and your Promo cards. Not to mention, totally wanna get the old school language Prerelease Cards like Raging Kavu, Glory, Fungal Shambler, etc. that were printed in stuff like Latin..SO COOL. __________________ -Schmitty 97th in Refs [261] on MOTL (2 behind Phyrexian Angel) 4th in Refs [261] in OH-IO (4 behind Bmadsen) 2nd in Posts [7100] in OH-IO (only 1000 behind Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino
