Hm, that's a good point. I don't send via PWE often, though more and more people are requesting it these days. Do you know which type stores how many cards? I mean, even looking at jersey card toploaders there's a bunch. I guess I could pick up some of every type since it would be worthwhile (if I ship 1-3 cards, use a small one, if I ship 4-6 cards, use a medium one, if I ship 8-10 cards, use a bigger one, and so on) but it'd be nice to have more knowledge about these first. http://www.bcwsupplies.com/products/trading-card-sleeves-and-toploaders For example, that site has: Standard 12mil (1mm) --> normal toploader Premium (1mm) --> whatever premium means, but 1mm means same thing, holds 2 cards 3x4x1.5mm "action packed topload card holder 59 pt." --> 1.5mm space - Holds a thick trading card up to 50 points 3x4x2mm "thick card topload holder 79 pt." --> 2mm - Holds a jersey or memorabilia card up to 75 points 3x4x2.75mm "thick card topload holder 108pt." --> 2.75mm - Holds a jersey or memorabilia card up to 108 points 3x4x3.5mm "thick card topload holder 138pt." --> 3.5mm - Holds a jersey or memorabilia card up to 120 points Also 5mm and 7mm, but I assume that's really huge and not applicable here. I'm guessing 2mm can hold 4-5 cards since 1mm can hold 2-3 cards, 2.75mm can probably hold something like 6-7 cards, and 3.5mm can probably hold around 10something cards, but again, better to be sure if someone knows more around here.

I'm a bit annoyed that Command Tower is a Judge foil since its cost will be quite high.__________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 11000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 13th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

At least it means it won't take up a slot in FTV:R

It really depends on how many get printed as judge foils.

Still though. I have a FOIL EDH deck and this would be a prime target. I see these as insanely expensive. __________________ -Schmitty 4th in Refs [253] in OH-IO (11 behind Bmadsen) 2nd in Posts [7068] in OH-IO (only 1000 behind Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

Cards being expensive is not a real problem. Even if it were, this isn't on the same level as duals in Legacy or power in Vintage where the only playable versions are expensive. How expensive can a judge promo be when the card is already widely distributed and is a $1-2 common and not playable in almost every format? I don't think EDH-foilers will have to worry about this ever reaching Swords to Plowshares levels. There were better opportunities though. When someone pointed out that it was a judge promo, my reaction was "C'mon, really?" This should have been an FNM card. I was already hoping for Homeward Path in FTV over Command Tower.

The Judge Polluted Deltas were about 30.00 at one point. I see no reason why this one won't get lower than that. It's not like people need 4 of them.

well info I randomly round a few days ago online was that magic cards are ~.28mm thick. Some basic math, adjust for sleeve thickness, etc...

Kinda disappointed in the Judge foil choice. Was really hoping for a foil Scavenging Ooze, much like they did Flusterstorm. Having a new frame card that's not available in foil makes my deck sad.

probably very soon, however it seems like a card that could easily sneak into M13 too. Very generic card, decently strong rare, etc.

I checked my toploaders last night, and this one will hold four cards in a sleeve.

There's still 1 more Pro Tour plus the Magic World Cup this year, so there's 4 more chances at an Ooze. I expect it to be a Judge foil soon.

If WOTC's trajectory for Judge promos is EDH, there are so many good options available and a lot to look forward to.

http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/091137.htmlYou have got to love a member breaking a rule ("Cash auctions are not allowed in the Trade Auctions & Sales forum. Cash auctions belong on the MOTL Auction Board only." Which is what he is turning it into by pointing out he is offering lower then the last poster) 2 minutes after pointing out on a post that someone else broke a rule....

What's he is doing is completely fine. You're allowed to offer less than someone else. That's not a cash auction. The only time it's an auction is if the OP is selling something (this guy isn't, he's looking to buy) and people start offering MORE than the price he listed it at.

When I sold my power twister was the one piece I kept because it was EDH legal. Its blue graveyard hate, heh. Gonna be ebaying my beta timevault here tonight or tomorrow. I don't think anyone on MOTL pays market price often enough to make it worth selling on here, even after ebay fees.

How much are you looking for on the Vault? On a related note, I remember picking up my very first piece of power. Way back in late '94 I made a huge deal with a guy for his Lotus. It involved all kinds of in print revised staples (Shivans, Serras, Mahamoti's, Wraths etc.), about $200 worth for what was a $100 lotus at the time. It wasn't even close to NM but I didn't care. Still have that Lotus to this day, though it is well loved. The other pieces of power I picked up were sold off along the way long ago. The Lotus just had too much sentimental value to ever be moved.
