As far as I know there's no fee although you might want to double-check with their customer service. But if you have your PayPal account linked to your bank account why not just transfer the money over? I believe you can also request a check. __________________ Refs - MOTL PMPM work in all browsers now.

No fees. But you won't earn interest either. And a dollar you have in your pocket is better than a dollar paypal has in their giant money bin.

Unless you happen to -not- have a credit card. Leaving the money in Paypal also means if you find yourself going "Ooh I'd like to buy this thing" you don't have to wait a week+ for the money to go -back- from your bank account to Paypal. If you tied in a credit card though, you might as well be earning some interest by keeping it in the bank instead.

I'm sad that this is probably a fair offer.

think its out of print now. My LGS is having to pay more from his distributor now and that typically doesn't happen until its OOP.

Would explain a few things....but still....sword foil or not doesn't seem to quite equal a dual... __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

Ok, I'm sure someone has heard this one before, but I need to ask now.I recently bought my friend's (B) entire collection for more money than I want to admit. In this collections were 7 cards (4 Hierarch, 3 Null Rod) that belong to another friend of mine (D). For whatever reason (D) let (B) hold these cards, assuming he would see him again to gte the cards back. All of this, of course, I find out after the fact and also find out that (D) never said anything to (B) for a "long time" which I guess is around a year. Now, (D) is coming to me for his cards and pretty much won't accept any answer other than he gets his cards back. Meanwhile, I have a signed contract with (B) because of the overall value of the collection which has an exact dollar amount I owe him AND exact list of cards I received, less the bulk. I also have asked (D) to let me speak with (B) first and try to work this out so nobody gets shorted money or cards, but he is extremly impatient. So what do I do here? __________________ MOTL's Most Likely to Play in the Pro Tour - 2007, 2008, and 2009 (My 2008 Nationals) The Official Tower Magic Facebook Page

he didn't let you borrow the cards. He can get them back from the person that he loaned them to. Not your problem, its the guy's problem who sold you cards that weren't his. He can reduce the amount you have to give him, buy them back from you, give the other dude money, etc...

Problem is, the dual will always be as valuable or better, and the Sword may not stay that way.

You're right. The dual land should give more. Foil Sword of fire and Ice and Foil Sword of Light and shadow are both more than a savannah.

Sword might be reprinted someday somehow in a special set/deck/promo. Idk about the duals.MAB, your friend whom you are buying the cards from voided that contract when he sold you cards that weren't his. So if they are both your friends, tell the dude with the collection you have to modify the deal since HE messed it up. It's his issue to talk to talk the third friend who owns the Hierarchs/Rods. Though i'd assume it'd be cool to give the third his cards back and have the first modify the deal. Unless your friends are scheisty...

Honestly, I think they will definitely reprint the 2 older swords at some point in time. The 3 new ones are pretty powerful, especially Feast and Famine, and they're apparently ok to be in standard. I see no reason why they wouldn't do something like put sofi and sols in a core set as mythics. It would definitely sell some packs.

Sofi is still probably the best. The sad thing right now is that the worst Sword for Legacy is the top Dollar one for Standard. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 11000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 13th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

I realize that most people would agree with you on Fire and Ice, but I still think Feast and Famine is more powerful. It can be so insanely devastating. SoFi will be more relevant more times, but I think when FnF is relevant, it's so crazy good. At least in my experience with EDH games. For tournament constructed you're probably right.

You bought the cards from (B) assuming they were all his. I would tell (D) to take a hike and get his cards or money from (B).

This. But if they're both your friends... I can see where this can be hard. I would just try to be as amicable as possible... If you're gonna lose a friend over this, then maybe more drastic measures should be taken. You've done nothing wrong.

(D) is getting his cards back, hopefully tonight. (B) has a few other things he found that more than cover the value, so everyone will be whole.

I found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MTG-Magic-FOIL-Russian-DRANA-KALASTRIA-BLOODCHIEF-Rise-Eldrazi-/220929844806 I know it's sold out, but maybe you can contact Jupiter Games and see if they can get you more?
