Ohhhhh... I hope that Cobra hits MTGO as an MOCS promo. I was just about to pick up a playset of those in foil on there but now I may hold off.

to quote me on facebook, "OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!" Then I realized that it doesn't change until after Anaheim. I'm going to Anaheim because Terese will be there. Not being able to get the cobras signed in person is a small disappointment. I was planning on goign to the San Jose, CA GP, but with the format change it makes it a bit more difficult to get a team to go. Also leaning on your team mates to carry you through is a bit difficult. I've done a team GPT in the past a looooong while ago. Having one person consistently lose can be rough.

Whoa. I just happened to come across the prices for Spell Snare and Kitchen Finks, and my jaw dropped. Can't believe they've risen so high. I was also staggered by Gerlaf's Messenger and Predator Ooze. I originally got playsets of each because I liked them, but at those prices I may just have to part ways with them. EDIT: Also, Scavenging Ooze. Holy poop that went up! __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think they will sing to me." -T.S. Change Anaheim to Vancouver, and I had the same response. Missed it by 1 fricking week, and instead will end up with a playset of Goblin Guides. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Christ, why must people delete the prices of the cards when they post? If they are typing, at least have the kindness to add the prices back in and don't hope that I mess up with my math (actually had some one tell me that is why too)....

The new tokens were a nifty idea, but i'm a scrooge and i just don't care for them. They don't fit many places where you need both those tokens in the same deck. It's better than having adverts on the backs, i guess. Just woulda made more sense if there were some sort of token creatures that flipped, not that i'm saying that's a good idea either.

well I was considering Vancouver, but when Terese posted that she would be signing in Anaheim and a friend randomly mentioned that Disneyland is nearby, that pretty much sold me. Assuming I can get the money to work out, I want to GP fri/sat/sun and Disneyland monday. If by some random snowballs chance in hell I win the GP, I can actually use the quote, "I'm going to Disneyland!"

Can't believe they charge 7 tix for a MTGO Cube draft! Complete ripoff! They sell 12 digital boosters for $56! That is one fine business.

Playing the 8-4's don't even seem that fun since 90% of the fun in cube is the draft portion alone. Swiss is the way to go, but yeah the cost is a lot.

Did they actually sell any for $100? That's 40 bucks too high

Saw some Savannah's at last GP in the 70-80 range, 20 more doesn't seem to far a stretch, specially if NM. Also, so looking forward to the next patch of previews, 6 PW'er Core Set, and Ravnica 2.0, sounds like a good year to be playing magic. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Most things on MTGO are ripoffs anyway. At least this was a welcome breath of fresh air and I quite enjoyed it. It was quite amusing to open Huntmaster of the Fells and Garruk Relentless and lament not drafting DKA/ISD/ISD

I got there right @ 8 this morning and they "didn't have any" priced at $80. By 8:30 they had two playsets at $100 a card. I was buying a volraths stronghold and watched a guy buy 4 without thinking twice. By 9:00 they were sold out again.

This made me laugh.quote: Ban every wish card because the game should only be played with your actual deck, not bullcrap from outside the game. Seriously why does this game involve cards that people didn't skillfully think to put in their deck or forgot to prepare for certain cards? If you made a mistake and should have added something to your deck, it's your fault alone and you can swap within your sideboard before the next game. Take the loss like a man. If you want to keep your deck to 60 cards then you shouldn't have access to 75 during actual gameplay.
And to think, I thought I played Cunning Wish all those years because of flexibility. Turns out I was just absent-minded. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts 80th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

yep. As long as they aren't marked in opaque sleeves, you're fine.
