Love watching people trying to buy WAY under Ebay on stuff, I find it very amusing, comes second only to people who quote higher then ABU prices on things, then try and use Ebay as a guideline for their prices, cause they swear it's what they sell for, they usually respond to any price you list that is under theirs as something they will buy at all day, except you know when you offer to sell them a bunch at said price.__________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Speaking of ABU I just bought an Alpha Deathlace off them... they had it listed as "Slightly Played" I don't understate why they would call it slightly played to make it sound better?Anyways when I got the card I noticed it has a binder ding or something that looks like one, but other then that I'd say the card is very close to being NM. So I guess I'm asking what does slightly played equal in the Mint, NM, Ex, Poor scale?

Most stores sell anything wiht a small defect as slightly played. I've gotten a ton of stuff from Face to Face games where i could barley tell it wasn't near mint.

for most SP = NM/NM- Also SCG rocks, been pre-ordering some M13 stuff here and there, and asked if they would combine them (I'd already payed for each individually, shipping and all) Well they did, and refunded back the extra shipping. Prices might be on the high side, but damn if their customer service isn't great. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

My eBay countdown hasn't been working for months now and I can't figure out why. I don't even bid anymore because of the response time for the on-site bidding is much too slow for competitive bidding.Does anyone know how I can get this to work again???

This is as bad as the guy who is trying to sell his foil Cradle for $250, while SCG has it for $225. __________________ MOTL Fantasy NBA 2010 ChampionThe 1832 edition of the American Frugal Housewife said that "nothing was better than earwax to prevent the painful effects resulting from a wound by a nail [or] skewer"; and also recommended earwax as a remedy for cracked lips.

I know I'm not right. I know after playing X amounts of games online line. I know that after trading 300+ times and a good bit of them being people looking for Vintage stuff. (...) are all type 1 players just *******s?

God I need to practice drafting more, been way to long. Did my 1st draft in...probably months, ended up U/B in AVR, went 1-2 match one...sad face...Game one guy top decked Burn at the Stack to win, game two fliers won, game 3 he dropped the 1R Vamp, that shoots critters for 2R, and I never was able to deal with it and died :P... So much sad face... __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

And there are only ten dual lands, all from Revised. SOM and ISD lands are not dual lands.

"Duel" vs "dual" is an actual mistake in wording, though. Saying that "dual lands" are only the ones from Revised (while I agree) is more just a preference. Technically dual lands can refer to any land that produces two (dual) mana.

They are called dual lands because they have two land types. Underground Sea is a dual land because it is both an island and a swamp. Underground River is not a dual land because it is neither an island nor a swamp. The terminology was originally to differentiate between A/B/U/3rd lands and the new lands printed in Ice Age which were not called dual lands, but pain lands. The only dual lands are the ones from A/B/U/3rd and the Ravnica blocks lands which are called Ravnica Duals or Shocklands.

So it's not just about dual mana production?

Maybe play the 8-4 while people who are better at draft run in the 12-6? Could be some easy pickings and a good chance to get familiar w/ the format.

mtgo? those numbers are the prize payouts. In an 8-4 its 8 packs for 1st, 4 for 2nd. I'm sure you can figure out the rest. If you click on the colored name of the tournament when you're logged in it'll give you more details about the tournament too.
