From my experience most stores who have cards as slightly played have very little wear. ... Do I need to sacrifice permanents due to the annihilator? What happens if I have a Solitary Confinement instead of a leyline of sanctity? [Edited 1 times, lastly by wisknudde on July 12, 2012]

I just got some Chinese foils from them from this sale, and I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the stuff they only had in "SP". My 7th Wood Elves had perfect edges and only a very minor amount of foil scuffing. The Burgeoning I got from them I would consider to be around EX, with a bit of whitening on the top border but pretty nice aside from that.
psrex Member	posted July 12, 2012 10:38 AM I was going to post about this too. A lot of the SP cards that I got from Star City are in better condition than many of the older NM cards that I get here.

When I try to profit on a trade, I'm typically trading a big card for a ton of smaller stuff. Its easier to sell a card for $2 that you got in a trade for $1 then it is to sell a card for $60 that you picked up at $30, but same percentages apply. It is more work, but thats why you are able to get the premium as well typically.

The next turn, he played a second Krenko's Command and copied it with Reverberate and passed to me, ready to make an army of Goblins that could attack the next turn and he casually remarks, "I guess I could get really blown out if you cast Bonfire." During my draw, I peek, then flip over the top card of my library - Bonfire of the Damned. I make sure it's enough to completely clear his side of the table and he's just in disbelief. "WHY did I have to call that out?" The next game didn't go well and he lost the match. Next round I get paired up to the guy who was sitting just to his left and he is also playing a Goblins deck. He's basically ready to concede, having watched the other deck lose to mine 2-0. I do, in fact, manage to beat him in two games. I ended up 3-0-1 at the end of the night, good enough to get enough store credit to pay for the next three Standard tournaments. Last week I did the same thing, so I'm "going infinite" at FNM in July; the rest of July + all of August will be free. I was playing Naya Pod, if you're curious. That epic Miracle came off the heels of winning a match I had no business winning, except my opponent didn't realize that attacking with Odric and Hero of Bladehold didn't let him decide blockers, so I blocked both of them and killed them both in combat (losing only one Wolf token, while a second lived and a Ravager of the Fells remained as well).

You will also be able to play with the prerelease card.
