no i was making a joke about the things people debate that are for the most part a personal choice. Example i value signatures less or equal, where some value them more. I value cut-lines as equal. as for recent ones, i have a Sunblast Angel that looks to have a very small cutline on it, which i thought was weird, since they haven't been around since the new boarders.

I totally agree with you on personal choice, but when people state it as truth, that's where I have a problem.

I got the joke I was just steering it away from the old disscussion that had been beaten into the ground heh.

Opened a decent green pool (2 Prey Upon, 2 pump bear, slime, plummet, naturalize and hydra, then proceeded to play blue instead, which had nothing. Went 0-2, then switched the blue for green and destroyed my next two opponents. Comments were "how are you 0-2/1-2???". I suck.

I need some help from people that have experience running lower lever events. I am being intentionally secretive here, so if you're interested in offering some advice, shoot me a PM or email me with the subject "Tournament Advice."My correspondence with you will be a document which will outline some ideas I have. I may make a Facebook group for it to promote discussion between interested parties as opposed to just between me and those of you that are interested. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

I'm not a fan of random artist alters as they're usually pretty cruddy, and I'm generally in the "whatever people want to do with their own cards is fine" camp but why would anyone ever let Jason Felix alter a card? He seems to do similar things everytime (check the last spoiler tag) and I'm not sure anyone would ever find it interesting in anything other than the fact that he was the one who did it. Seriously, he's ruined those cards.

I like those alters.I probably won't give him foil ones to alter, and I clearly won't give him anything that I plan on using in tournaments to alter (at least without first asking him kindly not to cover up the mana-costs and names of the cards), but in terms of artist alterations, I actually like those.

I have nothing against his alters, but my point was he has to stop going over the mana costs.

That's fair. I only use Alters/Foils for EDH and Cube so it matters not to me __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 2nd in posts in Canada 10th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

The real 6th Wrath has a collector number of 54/350 while the Battle Royale boxed set version of Wrath of God has no collector number.

Just saw someone selling stuff on the T/A listing an amazon storefront as proof of reliability. I'll give it to her, the 5 star assuages my fears, but seeing as it's from 1 rating in the last 12 months, I would value it at something like half a reference. =3

Thank you! I feel dumb because I should have known the answer to that question. I ordered a Battle Royale Wrath from eBay and for some reason didn't realize it would have the 6ED symbol on it. It feels out of character of me to have not realized that. Some time ago, I traded the WoG from my Battle Royale decks, and never replaced it. I sold my extra Land Tax and used some of its proceeds to pick it up, plus some sleeves for my Planechase cards. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

Heheh. I walked into the prereleases wanting 3. After the first event, I had pulled one and traded for one. Then Nderwife pulled one in the second event. I'm so relieved, as I think they're way overpriced, but good in a fun deck I have.
