I ended up 3-0-1 at the end of the night, good enough to get enough store credit to pay for the next three Standard tournaments. Last week I did the same thing, so I'm "going infinite" at FNM in July; the rest of July + all of August will be free. I was playing Naya Pod, if you're curious.

That epic Miracle came off the heels of winning a match I had no business winning, except my opponent didn't realize that attacking with Odric and Hero of Bladehold didn't let him decide blockers, so I blocked both of them and killed them both in combat (losing only one Wolf token, while a second lived and a Ravager of the Fells remained as well).

You only have a set amount of time to randomize your deck (shuffle) and people can call a judge on you if they don't feel you've done that.

Of course I get good with a draft format just as it's waning. I'm doing very well with AVR x3 online - not quite "infinite", but really close. I just won an 8-4 AND got a foil Entreat the Angels to boot.

My strategy has been exceedingly simple:

Draft U/G, W/G, or R/W whenever possible. Unless I open a black bomb rare (Demonic Uprising, Dark Imposter), don't get into black. Prioritize 2-drops over almost everything else. Develop a good curve. Draft as many creatures as you can.

Sadly at stores you can sell most played duals for slightly less then NM. His buy prices need to be raised on the Played duals.

Given he admits to being a store and needing a % for profit, they don't look to bad really, saw one or two that seemed overly low, but meh.

Seen stores offer much much worse on Duals before, not even accounting for condition.

I was wondering if the Sun Titan would give the deck added value in a scenario like this:

T1: Copperline Gorge, Avacyn's Pilgrim
T2: Razorverge Thicket, Blade Splicer
T3: Forest, pay 2 life, Birthing Pod, Pod Blade Splicer into Huntmaster
T4: Pod Huntmaster into Zealous Conscripts (untap Birthing Pod), Pod Zealous Conscripts into Sun Titan, return Blade Splicer to Play.
T5: Pod Sun Titan into Elesh Norn.

I now have an Avayn's Pilgrim, two Golem tokens, a Wolf Token, and Elesh Norn. I can attack with everything but Elesh Norn for 18.

It was a cute, overkill, win-more thought that didn't play out that way in testing and every single game 2, I immediately switched Sun Titan for a Huntmaster of the Fells from my sideboard.
