apparantly no luck wishers here, but nevertheless going 0-1 WITH mulligan I took game 2 WITH mulligan and HE screwed on landflood game 3. Now I can sleep happy! Simic Fluxmage is your friend. __________________

So I'm looking for someone to sell me uncommon/common playsets for Dragon's Maze. I'd like to get 3 playsets. Anybody know a guy?

I agree on the PTQ aspect. I really think those should be run by the larger and more experienced TOs, even if they travel to an area to run one. Having an invite on the line is a big enough prize that you want to make sure everyone who wants to compete has a chance. On the smaller Pre-re front, I think having it at the local level is just fine. It doesn't feel as special as back in the day when we would load up the car and drive to Chicago or St. Louis, but I also like being able to roll out of bed and be there in 10 minutes. I just wish they would bring back drafts. Granted, I've been spoiled since moving to WI. I've always lived within a few minutes of the store that hosted the state level ones before they went away.

Any particular reason? I don't know any guys, I'm just curious as to why for this set.

On a different note, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should sell most of my collection here (per card/playset) or on Magiccardmarket. Is there still a (decent) market for Intuitions and Ravagers and such? I don't do Ebay btw. The thing that holds me back is registered shipping. I don't think most people on here would pay 20$ for registered sending if they asked me to.

I usually only see PTE as far as spells, and if there are counters i see Leaks and Pierces.

Lost in the finals. Couldn't draw a fifth land to use either of the "totally lost" cards in my hand to basically nullify his cipher'd dude.Also if I ever got my fifth land I coulda casted my abberation, it being a 5/5 turn 5. And then quite a bit bigger after using a totally lost to gain board advantage and so on and so. Yet nonetheless modo said dimir comes in second to gruul/simic. I agree with modo even, haha.

I wish they made more old border foils for judge promos. I really want a foil sneak attack, but the new art isn't spetacular and it's missing the silly goblin quote

Most annoying part about owning a Cube is re-sleeving it. Then again, fresh KMC sleeves feel sooooo good when shuffling.It also further confirms that I love the feel of old cards. Beta Terror and Serra Angel next to Vampire Nighthawk and Cloudgoat Ranger just doesn't compare.

I would think it's more annoying that you have serra angel and terror in your cube

I'm with skizz that at least the cube has actual Magic cards. Oh, and Terror and Serra Angel work just fine as its a Peasant Cube.
