ABUGames, CCGHouse, and TrollandToad all have listed artist signed cards on their sites at one point - don't know if they still do. Hope this helps Take it easy, Jared

I think I have seen some lists going back to the old standard staple in the deck Putrid Leech, deciding to go more aggro without BBE I guess.

Those are the Bloodhall Ooze versions...such an odd choice. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Yes, there is a premium. But this premium highly depends on the type of card and doodle. A slight Dan Frazier alter (he drew sun glasses on a goblin of mine) won't give you much (0 - $0.1) but the full screen alters done by Doug Shuler (like these) will fetch a HEFTY premium... __________________ Collecting signed cards. well since it has putrid leech and deathrite, it makes the card slightly more interesting. Haven't actually seen it in action tho, so I'll reserve judgment.

By what turn does jund want to wrap up the game? Because in the arena of "one drops that are huge", wouldn't dragon master outcast be a possible choice? It'd be better in top deck mode, less so at keeping pressure up tho.

So your opponents are idiots. The best part is that they are wrong about Goyf, trainer couldn't even be a card type. Goyf has defined all card types inherently in the text of the card. Tarmogoyf's power is equal to the number of card types among cards in all graveyards and its toughness is equal to that number plus 1. (Artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, and tribal are card types.) So yea, I'm pretty sure that isn't a cube you are playing. Perhaps a rectangle or something else strange.

reminder text (the crap in parenthesis) isnt real text. if a new card type got printed, goyf WOULD count it. even though it wouldnt be listed on goyf. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Professor Oak sucks. Play Blue Eyes White Dragon. You could even play Polymerization to summon the Really Blue Eyes Triple Smash White Dragon. It's a good one.

Other people have suggested Yugioh cards but the owner made it pretty clear that he thinks one card from another game is kinda cool, but multiples would be kinda dumb quote: Originally posted by oneofchaos: So your opponents are idiots. So yea, I'm pretty sure that isn't a cube you are playing. At first, I thought it was terrible as well (especially after that kind of a bs loss), but after laughing about it for the rest of the night, I am 100% for its inclusion. So the house rule for professor is: 1. It has no mana cost and can only be played as a special action during your precombat main phase (following its pokemon rule) 2. It is not a spell so it can't be responded to, does not use the stack and can't be countered (basically restating it's a special action) 3. It has the card type trainer 4. It has a converted mana cost of zero for any effect that cares about it, ex: chalice of the void or void 5. It can not be played as though it had flash since it is not a spell even if you had something like leyline of anticipation or suspend 6. It is an absolute first pick and more broke than any p9 7. I want a signed first edition one for my friend's cube if anyone has it (I will trade very generously for it) Does anyone else have a cool and unique you personalize your cube with? I would love to hear some stories PS. My friend with the cube also has custom made cards of himself and his ex-gfs or at least the ones he played magic with. They are not in his cube, but he said he use to play those cards with the ex-gf. The cards are pretty hilarous and the cards for his ex-gf were all better than his card

Perhaps I speak for myself, but I think the majority of us fill our magic the gathering cubes...with magic the gathering cards. I imagine you've probably replaced the wheel of fortune card with a Pat Sajak of some sort? I was considering putting a booster tutor in my cube as something fun and new, and then out of the undrafted stuff randomly picking 15 cards. It seemed like a cool idea, but thats as far off the deep end I go.

who/what/when/where/why is actually a fairly reasonable card and would see print if being a 5-way split card wasn't so off the wall. There were a few others as well. My friend wanted me to put super secret tech into my cube as it was mostly foil. I opt'd to not put any silver cards in because I felt like it might be a slippy slope. In the end tho, my cube is dead ;(

In my group we like to put Ashnod's Coupon in 100 card highlander decks. It's normally taken in good fun and is always a handicap (in terms of winning the match)

SCG ever going to do double standard opens (ie standard on sat and sun)? Some people seem to think it's about money (which it is to an extent) and this would have the max attendance? Going on in the trade&value forum, but figure this is pfms instead.

Buddy at my LGS has a commander cube, which is cool in of itself, with a Super Secret Tech in it. House rule is the SST only effects you and your stuff. About 95% of the cube is foiled out.
