With all the recent hubub about trading details... would anyone who's traded with me before like to buy a pernicious deed foil off me? send me a pm to discuss; I didn't have a concrete price so I just wanted to throw that out there as a floater to the MTG side of the forums.

If you're going to put Yu Gi Oh cards in the cube, you gotta add Backlash too. That's just too hilarious.

Don't worry, 1OC. I laughed at this. It was clever.

If anyone wants to buy FOIL ZEN basics at a decent price, SCG has them for 25% off. I would have bought a lot back when I was looking to fill out my cube.

I'll save my dollars for upcoming sales that might even be better. __________________ My 2008 Nationals MOTL's Pro-Tour Winner 2007-2009 Tower Magic FacebookhilikuS: Also, as much as MAB's list has become the list on the T/A Forum, I do miss Slinga's.

Or these cards are being reprinted (see shocklands). Should be plenty of modern staples "on sale" in the near future.

Nothing except provide witty comments in the flavor text. You'd need the Vanna White card to actually do anything that would affect the game.

I'm going to be in San Diego in late March. I would like to find some place near downtown (ish) to play Legacy. At least I guess EDH for a few hours during the day. Ideas.yes I know I can search google/wizards but thats pretty sub par for places that I need. Looking for mid afternoon to kill time and meet people places.

We had about that many in Portland a month or so ago. Cool thing was, only 160 seats. Yah... I got there 20-30min before the tournament registration closed, still didn't get to play. Was only a ~3 hour drive too.

Pretty much. With so many PTQs being done at the store level now, some places just don't have all the space that's needed to fit hundreds of players. My closest LGS is pretty big, and even they have a cap of like 200 players if the event is on site. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

See this just doesn't make much sense to me, but I also may be bitter as one of the local shops caps at 32 for events... That said, I HATE AND LOATHE this new small stores can do it do BS, it's a fail concept that screws the players and the stores in the long run. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Yah, it was ran at the store and was based on their fire marshal's rating for the building. To be fair, their previous PTQs were ~100 people so it was a large jump, but htey said it won't happen again. Regardless, guess I'll preregister if I head that way again.

Good to hear they where nice about it. I still want old events back, I want my state wide pre-releases etc back....tired of all this small stuff, and these small stores trying to play in the big leagues and failing big instead ... or worse yet, singing up for events then never running them, and just keeping the promo's to sell. (Which is happening more and more by the year) __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

What's the general opinion on gatecrash vs, return to R for fun of drafting. At this point I'm thinking RtR was a bit better, but that may just be because in 3/4 gatecrash drafts my deck was terrible.
