I decided to run it again, and bring it all back. Welcome to the one-and-only CREATE YOUR OWN CARD CONTESTOkay, so here are the rules: 1. Cards must be playable in an actual game of magic (unless requested, no nonsensical/real world cards) 2. One entry per person (unless otherwise asked for more) 3. Please do not edit posts! if edit's are necessary, Make a new post quoting yourself and make your adjustments. Only one adjustment per entry(cannot be something that somebody else has stated, this is for minor details like forgetting subtype or fixing typos) 4. I will be deciding the winner. I'll use all kinds of judgements such as: Power/balance of card, how well it suits its colors, Theme of card/set, creativity, and just how much I damn well like it. 5. There will be prizes! 6. Constructive criticism is alright, but nothing offensive. Also, continuing to flood the forum with your opinion over someones card is frowned upon. Let's continue! Round one: You will have 10 days from today to make all submissions. For clarification, midnight (saturday/sunday) Card 1:
I want a creature enchantment. That's right - AURA! CMC of either 2 or 3, any color(s) of your choice, but only in the COMMON OR UNCOMMON SLOT! Watch your power level!!! Card 2:
How about something fun? I want a new unhinged card. Any color, any cost (BUT NOT MULTICOLORED). Make it a RARE card! (Flavor text for this one = bonus points) Card 3: You're a blackmage, you cast the spells that make the people fall down. Don't get it? SORCERY! Gimme a new one. Something that makes the people fall down. Make it crappy and overcosted. We're talking explosive impact here. Clarification: I would prefer a black spell (can be multicolored) that removes creatures (can do other things) that is really crappy (too much mana for too little of an effect) that nobody would ever want to play. Alternatively, you can base the spell off of any spell 'Blackmage' could cast and it would still qualify as it would be a spell blackmage would use (see chargingrhinos post about 'nuke'). ALRIGHT! So round 1 is up, and you may begin!

Card 1: Archangel's Blessing 1{W/U}G Enchantment-Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +1/+1. You gain 2 life if W was spent to cast Archangel's Blessing. Enchanted creature has flying if U was spent to cast Bant Battlewings. (Do both if WU was spent)I took the hybrid spells that let you do both things if you pay both colors (like Dawnglow Infusion) and mixed it with the cycle of cards from RAV and GPT (like Revenant Patriarch). Card 2: The Unwashed Masses 2BB (R) Creature-Human Hippie Protection from soap and from water. Whenever The Unwashed Masses blocks or becomes blocked by a red or white creature, The Unwashed Masses gets -5/-5 until end of turn. "We have to back to Boulder?!?!? But those hippies smell awful!" -Nebraska football 6/6 Used the Nebraska/CU football "rivalry" for inspiration. The -5/-5 is in reference to Nebraska's 5 national titles. I made it 6/6 because its P/T of 1/1 after it shrinks is in reference to CU's 1 national championship. The name and flavor text are just knocks against Boulder. Card 3: Demonic Overtaking 5BB Sorcery (R) As an additional cost to cast Demonic Overtaking, sacrifice four creatures. Put two 5/5 black Demon creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.

Thanks for doing this by the way, I love doing these.Card 1: Demonic Emergence 1B - Common Enchantment - Aura Enchant Creature Enchanted creature gets +3/+3 and has flying. Whenever enchanted creature deals damage, its controller loses 3 life. With great power comes reckless abandon. --- I wanted to make something that would be the black antithesis to Armadillo Cloak; an Unholy Strength that's out of control. Card 2: Cabal Therapist B - Rare Creature - Human Cleric Whenever an opponent would draw a card, they reveal it and put it into your hand instead. If they do, put a card from your hand into that opponent's hand. "And how does that make you feel?" 1/1 --- I had a little trouble with the wording on this one, but I think this works like I want. Think of the therapist as replacing ideas in your head with different ones. Originally, this was going to be a Phyrexian Shrink, but I happen to have a Cabal Therapy on my desk, and who better to administer Cabal therapy than a Cabal therapist? Card 3: Exterminate 5BBB - Rare Sorcery Exile all creatures you don't control. Search their controllers' graveyards, hands, and libraries for all cards with the same names as those creatures and exile them. Then those players shuffle their libraries. --- When Eradicate just doesn't do enough. I purposely left flavor text off of this one for the same reasons they leave it off Wrath of God: it seems more powerful and momentous that way.

Kudos for doing this again, always a fun gameCard 1: Mindless Assault UB (Uncommon) Enchantment – Aura Enchant Creature Enchanted creature gets +3/+1 Sacrifice enchanted creature: attach ~ to target creature I think this would be very good in draft, the ability to make your opponent really scratch his head during combat is a lot of fun. Card 2: Magical Personal Trainer 2RG (rare) Creature – Human Wizard
If your opponent has a carbonated beverage or any food with chocolate, you may cast ~ without paying its mana cost. If you do, ~ gains split-second. At end of turn, if you have a carbonated beverage or any food with chocolate, return ~ to its owner’s hand. Haste Tap: Double target creature’s power and half its defense (round up, this effect does not end at end of turn) “Hup, two, three, four, You’re gonna have that fat butt no more.” -The Deadly Insect’s workout plan Card 3: Void Storm 4BBB (mythic) Sorcery Choose one – target player exiles a card from his or her hand, exile target creature or exile target land. Storm Flashback – BBBBBB Big, black and terrible.

I'm no good at flavor text so yeah, don't hate.1. Furied Growth 1RG - U Enchantment - Aura Enchanted Creature gets +2/+1, trample, and can't be blocked except by two or more creatures. ------- Fits the color pie. Elegant. Similar to other 3CMC auras in power level. 2. Old MacDonald 4GW - R Legendary Creature - Human Farmer All other creatures you control get +4/+4. If a red, blue, or black creature or spell would deal damage to other creatures you control, prevent it. If a red, blue, or black creature would deal damage to Old MacDonald, destroy Old MacDonald and all other creatures you control. Old MacDonald had a farm, E I E....Old MacDonald's farm is gone, E I E I O 2/2 -------- Adding P/T is Green and Whites forte. Fire would blaze the farm, water would drown it, and black would plague it. He protects his farm, but he dies, everything else dies. 3. Soulless Fortune XXBBBB - R As an additional cost to ~, pay X life. Destroy X target permanants.

Enchanted creature gains t: Add 1 mana of any color to your mana pool --- Basically turns the creature into a land. Kind of like a Pacifism, but leaves them with something to do with the stagnant body. Could possibly be used to combo out as well. Havent thought that deep into it xxxxxxx Card 2 Wliver WW Rare Creature-non sliver Even though Wliver isnt really a sliver, it still benefits from all effects of other slivers kids these days and their damn rap music 1/1 --- I imagine an evolved sliver, like the ones from the M14 spoilers. Maybe he has some cool swag on. xxxxxxxxxx card 3 Leyline of Rationing WU4 (Mythic) Enchantment If Leyline of Rationing is in your opening hand, and you are going first, you may play it without paying the casting cost. 1. Wings of EsperUBW - Uncommon Enchantment - Aura Target creature gets flying and fear. When target creature deal combat damage you may choose one. Target player discards a card, target player draws a card the discards a card, or target playes gains life equal to the number of permanents of the chosen color of that players choice he/she controls. "~Wings of hope, prosperity or despair...you decide." I really like Esper, and while I wish I could have made this a rare constructed quality card I think it fits the power level of Uncommon. Also, it makes you think about your decision...which fits the Esper theme.
2. The DCI Strike Again! 1WW - Rare Sorcery Name a card, that card cannot be played. If a player draws it you must play with it revealed to your opponent. If you choose a land that land can be played, but only can produce colorless mana.(ex: If you choose Island they only produce 1 colorless, effects that detroy Islands are still in effect. They cannot however produce more than a single mana.) "~Islands are broken....time to ban them." Islands are broken.....nuff said 3. Revelation
6BBBB - Mythic Sorcery Remove each creature from the game and remove each graveyeard from the game. Put a 2/2 Black Zombie token into play for each creature removed this way from play and all graveyards. "~When there is no more room left in Hell....the dead will walk the Earth." I felt like this was a good time for another overcosted EDH-playable board sweeper. Awful anywhere else, and bulk mythic to boot. Seems like something they'd feed us at WOTC.

iplaneswalk - Your enchantment is a remake. Unacceptable. Your sliver is fine, don't change it. Your black sorcery fails to meet criteria: It does not kill creatures. It is OP as all ****! One more opporunity for you to change. Please read criteria for cards carefully before submitting

Forged Robe UU - UncommonEnchantment - Aura Target creature gets +1/+1, hexproof and is a wizard in addition to any other creature types " A forged wizards robe is made of the best materials in all the realms." i really like mono blue and with all the elves,goblins and other creature types getting a push lets bring back wizards
2. Weeping Goblin Child R - Rare Creature - goblin Double strike At start of your precombat phase flip a coin, if its heads weeping goblin child may attack this turn. If its tails exile weeping goblin child, return it at the end of your turn "The goblin young are are deadly and weak at the same time. never under estimate them. (Eladamri) ." 2/1 i really like crazy goblins and unhinged can be just that 3. Griselbrand's Champions 7BBB - Mythic Sorcery Target opponent sacifices 3 creatures. You put three 3/3 lifelink demon tokens with haste,flying onto the battlefield. These tokens have the abilitie. everytime you lose life, half that life loss this turn ( this number rounds up) sacifice these tokens at end of turn " my best demons of all evil marched forward, the fight was coming close (griselbrand) " just wanted to make the most broken card even mor ebroken

When this enchantment enters play, choose target permanent at random. Enchanted creature is tapped when the target is and untapped when it is. Tap target permanent. "We share everything. Both the good and the bad." ~Skyhunter Twins ---UNHINGED--- In The Buff U/B U/B Rare Enchantment At the begining of each upkeep roll 5 dice: If you roll two pairs, nothing happens. If you roll a low straight, creatures you control have +0/+3 until end of turn. If you roll a high straight, creatures you control have +3/+0 until end of turn. If you fail to roll any of the above, remove a piece of clothing or sacrifice creature.

Faceless Inversion 1B - Common Tribal Enchantment - Shapeshifter AuraChangeling(This card is every creature type at all times.) Enchant Creature Enchanted Creature +3/-3 and loses all creature types. 3BB: Return Faceless Inversion to its owner's hand. Plain and simple I love Nameless Inversion and think it would be awesome as an enchantment with the ability to be returned to its owner's hand ala Agoraphobia. ~~~~~~~~~ PewPew...Tacos? 4R - Rare Sorcery PewPew...Tacos? deals 5 damage to target player. If PewPew...Tacos? kills that player PewPew...Tacos? controller must buy 2 tacos(or equivalent fast food item) for the recently deceased player. "So...soft shell or hard shell?" My LGS is across the street from a Taco Bell and so many trades are evened out and bets paid for in tacos that it's unreal. ~~~~~~~~~ Black Out 4BBBB - Mythic Sorcery Black Out can't be countered by spells or abilities. Each player sacrifices all non-land, non-black permanents he or she controls. EDH-tastic to say the least, but still insanely powerful. I would play this card if they printed it, but I do run Xiahou Dun ~~~~~~~~~~~ So far everyone's aura's are pretty good. I also really like Dane and Junichi's black cards, they are pretty broken in EDH though
