1) I don't think I've ever seen a Modern Storm deck resolve an Epic Experiment right.

2) Asking "So what's the card worth in actual Cash/Monies?" is a good response to someone telling me what a card sells for on SCG.

I believe it's still an "enchantment creature," thus a legal target for annul. It would only prevent a counter that said "counter target aura spell" from actually working.

According to the write-up for Theros release notes, it is never of both types while on the stack. Like you, I thought it would still be similar to casting a card that had "artifact creature" in it's types. The line in particular that gave me fits was a bullet under the "Bestow" section that read: "On the stack, a spell with bestow is either a creature spell or an Aura spell. It's never both." Did I just misintepret this? Because this would make me extremely happy.

I was referencing the release notes as well, and I think it's just poorly worded. It stops being an aura spell, but it does not stop being an enchantment spell. That's an inherent part of its type, being an "enchantment creature." It only gains the aura aspect if you are casting it using it's bestow cost.

Try reading the relevant rule with one minor tweak (probably how it should have been written):
