Theros must be really popular, the payout for the MTGO Theros release events are terrible.

People will always play releases no matter how awful the prizes may be. They want to play with new cards. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario and Canada 8th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/005450.htmlSo steal a 50 ref account that hasn't been accessed in 9 years, make 3 trades and ring in the gullible.

Not sure about that, previous release events (sealed queues) have had a much better payout.

I've noticed recently (now that I'm trading a little more actively than I have been in a while) that most members seem to prefer PM communication. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Email is far more effective for tracking deals. Not sure why people seem to prefer PM's beyond the convenience factor. They are auto deleted in fairly short order if you are active.

I always take deals to email. I don't trust PMs and it's far easier to access email on my phone. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

If you use the auto quote/previous message feature you do not need to keep all the PMs. I do all my deals by PM as it keeps it on MOTL. Anyone can find my email on motl and send a deal. I only use email if asked by the other person and if the already PM me. And then their email should match the profile one.

A couple of years ago, PMs were inaccessible for a long period of time and it created havoc on MOTL. Using email is a lot safer.

Not here. E-mail 's the best. While a bit on the subject, am I the only one who finds those IM's REALLY annoying? Gladly hardly anyone seems to use it nowadays. __________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. Let's trade.Lord Flasheart: Enter the man who has no underwear. Ask me why. You're not the only one, but I've had a lot of deals stall for a couple days because "shoot me an email to confirm" apparently confused a lot of people. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get people to wrap up a trade by email.

This is a very bad habit to get into. PMs are unreliable, particularly if you're trying to keep a bunch around while trades complete. If someone uses the "Send e-mail to 10 randomly selected, confirmed references." feature for someone that you traded with a few months ago or more, you won't have any of the information needed. There are no timestamps on each PM if you only keep the newest one, making it much harder to properly timeline events should you need to post a BTA case. PMs can easily be accidentally deleted, causing headaches trying to figure things out mid-trade. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I clearly didn't get the memo. Does anyone know why this is happening? Standard? EDH? etc?

That land was incredible at my local FNM tonight. One guy I played was netting over 8 mana a turn with the damn thing. He was running some Golgari deck with the whip and bow. I played control and won the first game. Second game we tied I could not get through all the life gain from the bow in time to snag the win.
