If you send FCMI and as a document then it costs under $3. Is it right? I say yes. If you say it has not value you take that risk. The rest of the rules need to be followed (not too rigid...). Why send as a parcel if you dont have to.

The point is that it's NOT a document. You can lie by omission if you choose. That doesn't mean that's what it should cost to ship. __________________ Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"

Do you find it annoying when your opponent is asking questions about your deck build in the middle of a match? For example, "how many black sources do you play in your deck?" and "oh you play gifts ungiven, what are your usual piles?"

Depends on the tournament. If it's a high level event yes. If it's some kid at an FNM looking to become a better magic player, I like to help out after the match.

I usually ask something for some conversation. Or to find out if he plays basic lands so my Ghost Quarter will work meaning my Archive Trap can be activated

I've also lied through my teeth. If he was playing any destruction and I said very few black sources, sometimes I could get him to prioritize nuking my lands while I just win the game. Nothing that requires an honest answer to those questions.

I lie. A lot. It's somewhat ignorant for them to believe I'm going to help them. Even at a FNM. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread

At FNM, it bothers me when it's someone I don't like, or I'm just in a bad mood. Anywhere else, yes all the time. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

I'm not very cuttthroat at FNM. Could be just me, but if I have to rules lawyer somebody in a close game and win the match and potentially have the MTG community lose a player, I'll take the loss every single time. If it's a high profile tournament I could care less what happens after. No reason to be mean at FNM.

It's not about being cutthroat. It's just plain dumb to ask me something along the lines of, "Hey. Do you play counterspells in that deck? I'm wondering if I should cast X." Yes, someone has asked me that before. I obviously lied. If it were about rules or some such, I have no problems answering questions and letting them do things the way they wanted something to work out (if it's possible), but that's what not exhibit A above is doing. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. If it's a more casual tournament, just simply help them out after the match. Nothing wrong with being cutthroat tho.

I used to like to crush new players at FNM, then I'd show them the pokemon table.

I tend to point out to noobs things that I don't personally care about but random imbeciles who are in town might. Stuff like doing things out of order when the intention is clearly to do it a certain way.

Exactly. This sort of stuff doesn't bother me. I don't even mind helping them figure it out for our FNM rules lawyers. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. I like to do random stuff like putting an elf into play tapped, then play a forest untapped, and pass turn. You get the oddest looks...

Gotta bluff. I think the best is when I count storm and get somebody to bite on some spell and counter it when it's obvious I'm not playing storm. If you are feeling sneaky I recommend picking up some tokens that are popular in the format you are playing and having them handy by your deck. Also if you have absolutely no shame play control and wear a tappout t-shirt. They'll be too bewildered to play properly.

Picking up some Mox Diamonds. Should i go with the original printing or from the vaults? I can't decided. Which one do you think will have the best long term value.

Is the terrible foiling process the reason for it being the same price as the non-foil?

That and probably due to all ftv are foil. No reason to chase it. Unlike original prints having foil options that are less available. Of course this only applies to cards post Urzas legacy. And there are also exceptions (top...).
