It seemed fine until I saw the huge discounts for bulk purchases. It's getting into buylist prices at 30% off.__________________ Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"

He's a 'New User' with 21 references. 9 of those are MOTL references. On the other hand, lots of recent references. Also - even the bad zendikar fetches are $40 now? Ugh.

they're all MOTL refs, the system is just bugged. you cant have a non MOTL ref, it doesnt work. 20 of them are also selling refs, with multiple being over $100. dont know why hes selling so low but its a safe buy. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

Just seemed weird. We have all seen this before. I have been taken by it my self recently. Was refunded though. And his refs all come in 2 months and then 6 months off.

Well, I think there was one buyer in the list that bought from him before so I have a feeling it is legit. Sometimes people sell out for lots of reasons. Easy enough to ask.

I saw a bunch of red flags as you guys did, but he did offered to send first to people with over 150 refs. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

Didn't you do a deal with him several month's ago? You are listed as a reference.

Yes, but that doesn't mean anything if there are still red flags. One deal doesn't equal complete trust.

Modern season starts June. So late July/early August is when you will start unloading all your modern cards.Google is wonderful http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/wmc13/LookingatPTQSchedule

Scumbag move or just tight play?Player A is dead to Player B essentially. Player A has cast his only hope and Player B counters it with Pact of Negation. Player A sighs with one card in hand and passes turn asking Player B to stop in draw step. Player A arranges clique mana while Player B draws his card and realizes he missed pact trigger. Thoughts?

Hmm... Originally, I thought it was just a tight play but after reading the situation a little bit more, I would think it's a scumbag move. But then again, I'm not a "win-at-all-cost" guy.

i use FNMs and MTGO as a testing ground to make sure I don't miss my own triggers or play incorrectly. If someone is unprepared to play their own deck properly, they should take full responsibility for missing their triggers. That being said, if your opponent is playing pact and you arrange your mana to clique him on draw, it's not shady, and the opponent should still be capable of paying for pact properly.

Sounds to me like Player B misplayed.

I was thinking if you can't remember to pay for pact mana, you indeed deserve to lose. You can ask an opponent to pause in upkeep or draw step for anything, no cards in hand or anything at all.Seeing this unfold I was surprised I was one of few who sided with Player A.

Scumbag move if fnm, tight play if it took place at a more competitive event.

Tight play in my opinion even at FNM. I don't know about the rest of you but FNM in my area is played competitively by a lot of people.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games.
