Who are the sellers who have lists notable for being expansive? Who has a lot of foreign foils?I am looking for a lot of small foils for EDH that are kind of useless, a handful seem like cards not worth listing.

Some Chinese sellers on here have lots of that stuff. Volrath I think is his name. He has a huge list.

As some of you may know, occassionally I put up Tournament reports, especially those of Budget Legacy ones. We're having a new one pretty soon so be sure to check out the report .I was wondering you guys now any way to beat Gray Merchant of Asphodel? Coincidentally my deck has an answer to the life loss, namely altering the word 'black' to anything else (I play cards similar to Sleight of Mind..). But are there any other (non expensive) cards to avoid life loss? For instance, I can deal with creature damage via a Circle of Protection (not playing this, but just for examples' sake), but that doesn't work vs life loss. Does anyone know of a card? __________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. Let's trade.Lord Flasheart: Enter the man who has no underwear. Ask me why. Children of Korlis works to counteract the loss of life.edit: You could also run something like Soul Echo.

Thanks for the tip! I suppose I could run Children SB. There is nothing though that prevents the life loss to take place in the first place right? (like a CoP preventing the damage for instance)

The only other things that I can think of to stop the loss of life are Platinum Emperion, Stifle and Time Stop. There are probably other cards, but most that I could think of are only relevant for damage and not life loss.

None. Is my $100 bill worth more than your 100 $1 bills.

Why does the greatest thief ever have to -2 to steal an artifact? It should be like a +5 and he should -1 to steal anything he wants.

Not as much as you would think. If you steal batterskull, they still bash you for 4 till you answer the germ token. It's like a double game loss if you control the equipment that killed you lol.

What's the germ without the 'Skull equipped? It doesn't have haste, and Planeswalkers can use theri ability the turn they enter play. I mean if they have the mana they equip it to another creature already in play the same turn, and hit you (Dack) at least once.

If you steal the Batterskull it is still equipped to the germ until you can equip Batterskull on something you control. The actual equip cost of Batterskull is quite high (5) so you are likely to get hit by that germ another 2 or so times before you can pay to move the Batterskull to your own creature.

You don't get the token because you didn't gain control of the creature just the equipment. Also the token dies, however I agree have fun attaching in Legacy given that it is only legal in Legacy and EDH. My question is what are casting in Legacy to utilize his emblem? EDH you have Comet Storm, Voyager Drake, Shattering Spree, Grapeshot, Gigadrowse, Leap of Flame, Pyromatics, Vacuumelt, Seige of Towers...if they have mountains.
