I still love this site and it's people, but it's very hard for me to watch it die as it is. Myself, along with many others, put in a lot of hard work and to see it going so far downhill is a major blow.

Man, slightly depressing to log into my account and post after reading this thread.

I actually think I enjoyed the non-MTG part of MOTL the most. With my wife having a kid in 2013, and a new job that requires lots of traveling and dedication (which is why I can appreciate Leshrac's absence as I'm in the sam boat as he is...though he is arguably doing much better than I am it appears).

What happened to OGB, MeddlingMage, Hilikus, etc?

Busy, as mentioned above. I see all the werewolf and mafia games died down, not seen Liq or MM post in any of the threads I've perused yet. You'd think the old saying of " money talks bull**** walks" could apply with him. Say, for example, someone goes into the office of his, offers an amount of, 11k for his site, you'd think he would at least consider. And/or considering listening to offers.

I dont see how this site generates anything. There is no real ad banner and I would not even think of shopping at his store with the way he treats this place. If Eddie is still in control, I really doubt money is the issue. Being a federal trial lawyer now along with owning a wildly successful shop makes me think money is not a thing with him...

I'm pretty sure that I'd get killed by my coworkers if I tried at this point. They've decided to not replace the Systems Manager for the foreseeable future, so we're already barely keeping things running. Gotta love politicians trying to make business decisions.

You'd think that, but thanks to the union, that's not remotely an option. These are the same people who insisted on continuing furlough days when management and non-represented employees opted to cancel the agreement and work those days. There's no way that it could come back to bite us when in the middle of contract negotiations we show management that we have too many employees and can take time off while management works without us. Also, I'm way too busy to MOTL at work.
