It's cost is 1W. Where does white ever get undercosted fat that drains life? (yes the color is black. But no black deck would ever play it).

Is Team America still a good Legacy Deck?I want to build a legacy deck that i like, once i get that I'm going to move to playing that, Standard and EDH. I don't think i would get to play any other formats on a regular basis I love EDH too much.. Still working on building my Mono White 8.5 tails. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

I have played Team America for like 3-4 years now and I don't see myself stopping now.

It's totally viable. quote: Originally posted by Heresy19: Wich one of these Legacy deck is the best in your opinion (the more comments/tips, the better) : Mono White Stax Fearless Dredge Tezzeret Affinity High Tide Combo ElvesP.S. Don't take $ in consideration Thanks
I'd rank them in this order: 1.) High Tide 2.) LEDless Dredge (most people keep some graveyard hate around in the SB, but winning G1 is a solid strategy, and hate can be dealt with) 2.) Combo Elves 3.) Tezzeret Affinity 4.) Mono-W Stax (frankly, I don't think it belongs to quite the same tier as any of the preceding decks) __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. MWStax is good against aggro and combo decks + I use 4x Cursed Totem in the SB to deal with elves, lavamancers, hierarchs, etc... but unholy crap it's too long to finish a game.I agree that High Tide looks by far, the best

Hey, I've got a couple of the Ultra Pro Premium 9-Pocket Pro-Binders (the one's with the soft 'leatherette' cover) and I'm thinking about picking up a few more since I am finding that I like them. However I've also seen a Ultra Pro 9-Pocket Pro-Binder that looks like the Premium except for the cover material. My Google-fu has turned up numerous reviews on the Premium binder but none on this version and I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with it. Is it was just like the Premium binder (aside from the cover); side loading pages? non-PVC? archival? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm currently stuck at just under 2% of the Deathlaces... theres no more affordable ones on ebay and I cant seem to find a retail store that has them and when they do they are over $35 each.

That is sweet! Totally worth sharing. Congrats, hope to see the collection with my own eyes someday . quote: Originally posted by Timmyhill: I'm currently stuck at just under 2% of the Deathlaces... theres no more affordable ones on ebay and I cant seem to find a retail store that has them and when they do they are over $35 each.
I guess that is one of the dangers of trying to gather up 4% of a print run when the print run is extremely short. Even for cards that are functionally useless they will charge a premium based on rarity and perceived demand. Good luck and let us know when you get to 4% .

I might actually have one, I'll check when I get home for you. If you want to keep going with them, you're going to have to start sucking it up and paying more. When I started with the Zombie Masters, I could pick them up $15-20 easily. Now I'm lucky to get them for less than $100 (that maniac on ebay wants $200 for a beat one, but I haven't driven the price quite to that point yet). Glad you guys enjoyed it. It might take a bit before I hit the 5% mark, but I'll post it up if and when I get there.

I have the one without the super nice padded cover and it's been great for me. Though, in retrospect had I known the padded version existed I might have sprung for that one. It is side loading and has the same number of pages. I don't know about the non-PVC part but it definitely doesn't smell like the Monster Binders do. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

As far as cutting your cube down it all depends on your playgroup. I cube with my 650 powered cube about once a month and we usually draft it with 10-12 people. Cutting it to 450 or 500 wouldn't make sense as having a finite set of cards over and over again is not appealing to my cubers, then you just know what cards you will see in the third pack especially if your in a niche theme like a non red aggro you just know you'll wheel certain creeps.Generally speaking mtgsalvation is a good place to get cube advice, however, you have to realize most people there winston with about 4 people and hardly ever 8 man it so realize that when seeking criticism. I am pretty sure I am the only person who drafts more than 8 on a regular basis so since your seeing more cards I have more themes to reward players for synergy, whereas the winstoners just want strict card power and avoid reanimator and other subthemes.

Great, thanks for the info! I may go ahead and order a couple myself then.

you know you'd love to be able to make a good $12 off that transaction... not per box, heh. Pretty sure buying direct from wotc runs about $76... not including any shipping. Although, boxes aren't available for sale as of yet... unless one person happened to win 6 in a prerelease

i was thinking the same thing. The best most consumers get is like 85-90 box here in the US. sending to spain is not even worth the effort unless it was like 110+ a box imho
