It just made blue decks so much better than non-blue decks.

Does anyone know of a program like Magic Suitcase that works properly? Since the base code is not being updated anymore, just the card lists, the filtering is getting a bit screwy, thanks to colored artifacts and land supertypes. It's been nice to have to keep track of all of the cards for my playset collection, but I'm starting to find things slipping through the cracks lately that make it hard to keep my wants list accurate.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! They were already better. Misstep's banning doesn't make non-blue any better, especially from a holistic perspective, since we're back to blue being the only thing with a decent chance against combo. Misstep slowed the format by a few turns; we're now speeding up again. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think they will sing to me." -T.S. Well, High Tide was a DTB before Misstep. The assumption is that it will be a DTB again. __________________ #2 in posts from British Columbia! Got any Portuguese Foils? Post on my list or email me at valter.cid@gmail.com !

Thanks, but don't worry about it. If needed, I can probably whip up a VB front end for the Magic Suitcase database that works a bit better, just leave out a lot of the features that I don't use in Suitcase. I'd much prefer a database backend than a spreadsheet. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! I was under the impression that its generally about a year or so. They might still tweak cards and numbers and pull or replace one or two cards but I think the set is generally ready to go. As for a decision to reprint shocklands, I think that's already done. If they're in the next big block then they already know it because they'll have to plan other rares and mythics around it and build limited with them in mind. EDIT: Anyone see that rumored trademark by WoTC? Magic: the Gathering - Cube. It's registered as an electronic game so maybe a Magic Online release? Especially since a paper release would be seriously nerfed without violating the reserve list. Not sure if it will be a standalone program or just a new feature/special release within Magic Online but either way...it holds potential. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

I think it was the case of "If you can't beat em, join em" and yet nobody wanted to jump on the Misstep Wagon when Phyrexian Mana made it possible. Similar but just the opposite of the Jace debacle. The irony is deafening.

I did, but I did not feel like unloading my foils just to pick them up again. Misstep is killer in Vintage. __________________ Looking for misprinted Commander decks. Got one? Talk to me.

As near as I can tell, Cockatrice is an alternative to MTGO, not a collection catalog. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. Remember the Auctions Board!

I agree, however it doesn't seem quite the power house that it is in other formats. I'm so out of touch with vintage though... it seems to be way better vs TPS decks then anything else. In non-TPS decks it gets ancestral, mystical, vampiric, imperial seal, ... what else? If it was 1 or less then I could see it dominating vintage. Would be neat to have a vintage tournament close enough that I could play in.

It is good vs Fish, because it hits Spell Pierce, Ancestral, Plowshares, Noble Hierarch. It is good vs Dredge because it hits Cabal Therapy and every one of their removal spells post-board. It hits tons of spells vs any blue deck. The only deck Misstep is bad against is MUD or any non-red Shop Aggro.__________________ Looking for misprinted Commander decks. Got one? Talk to me.
