Like almost everything, I really depends. Sol Ring and Demonic Tutor have awesome art and Alpha/Beta versions are expensive. For instance, Alpha/Beta Sinkholes aren't as pricey and the judge version doesn't have great artwork.

Even though Thawing Glaciers and Land Tax have no other foil form, their non-foil vers. aren't like Alpha/Beta. And they aren't Vintage staples. Land Tax can get unbanned. But look at DCI Dreadnoughts which have dropped, just like non-foil.

Btw, how is Thawing Glaciers in EDH? I haven't played with that card since cube from a long time ago.

Another day at the office in MOTL. I bet you also love getthing counter-offers that in no-way resemble the original offer and aim strictly at your most expensive cards.

It's really really good, why I expect this one to raise in price, as it's basically the only Pimp version.

Land Tax is basically Legends and Judge.

Things like Sinkhole and Dreadnaught suffer in that they see basically zero EDH play.

The other point going for both Sol Ring and Demonic Tutor as they are basically EDH staples.

Something both Land Tax and Glaciers are becoming as well.

I've never wanted to play Thawing in any of my EDH decks. It just feels like playing a come-into-play-tapped land 2 turns in a row and it costs mana to activate.

But I don't play any...any CIPT lands in EDH except Vesuva. And I don't make the market for prices, so idk.

try playing it in a deck w/ garruk or deserted temple or something. It also depends who you're playing and your playgroup. If its all fast combo type stuff or super aggressive huge creatures then you might not have time to play with a glaciers. If its a slower more creature and wrath of god format, then you can likely afford to use them as you'll end up pretty far ahead eventually.
