Why do people post "no ripping" in their trading rules on h/w list? Isn't it kind of a given? Or if by not stating it, it somehow would be ok? Also whats the deal with "throw-ins" it seems the last dozen or so random list I've looked at asked for cards to be tossed in with the trade offer and the sender shouldn't count on them having any value towards the trade. So what would be the point of taking the time to dig the cards out of their box if they don't have any impact on the trade?

For a time, I had a small list of ~$2 unc/commons on my haves list. They were freebies for anyone who accepted the initial offers that I posted on their h/w list. I was in a rush to get 200 refs and it was fun. Another incentive to make trading easy and smooth. Some ppl will negotiate to the dime via apathyhouse. If you post enough offers, you will meet both traders who make it easy and traders who make it hard. It's also pretty reasonable to expect repeat trades/buys from the same MOTL'ers again. Throwing something in is just a nice surprise. On the other, there are plenty (ie. too many) lists where the throw-ins are entirely unreasonable. But there are a myraid of other reasons why a lot of h/w lists are bad. A lot of them start with "Xx Dual lands."

Most of these (at least the reasonable ones) are bulk uncommons and commons. Sure, there's no reason for you to look through boxes to find any of them. But some people are just generally nice, and it helps to establish trading relationships with others on sites like these. There's a pretty good chance that you'll run into the same people at some point (though this is far more true for TA/S forum than H/W forum). People will generally remember if you tossed them some U/Cs they needed in the past, and if you happened to need something that they had, likely return the favor. It's like a MOTL Card Exchange without being so direct and without counting points, but also doesn't cost much extra shipping because you're already involved in a trade with them.

I've drafted innistrad once or twice a week since the prerelease/release and so far I've only opened one garruk and one pack that had a foil giest and a snapcaster so the snapcaster got passed. On top of that I've done 2 sealeds as well as opened a lot of my prize packs. There is a reason I dislike opening packs.

My EDH deck currently has some foils that have the common warping/curving problem. If I double sleeve it using perfect fits, will this help the problem? I've never used perfect fits so I don't know how strong/sturdy they are and don't want to purchase them if they wont help the problem.__________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winnerhttp://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html

Perfect fits are neutral to your dilemma. They don't help and they don't make it worse. You could try taking the foils out of their sleeves and putting them flat under something heavy. Perfect fits are also very durable, never had any break. Can't say the same about any other sleeve. Although, to be fair, perfect fits don't take on the same abuse that the other sleeves took being on the outside.

So masques online. Is actually pretty good. Only problem is there's like, zero fixing. And half of Prophecy was invalidated by the removal of mana burn.Good points? Light on removal. Huge bombs are 4/4 that do nothing for seven, not 6/6s for 6 that win the game.

Last night in a draft, I harkened back to my glory days of yesteryear and pulled out a play from my bag of tricks that won me the game. The game wasn't looking so good for me. My opponent just cast a Falkenrath Marauders and attacked with it and some other dude. I couldn't block, so Marauder got bigger. I'm going to die in short order unless I figure out something! That's when I drew Traitorous Blood. And I saw the play. I stole his dude and swung with my team. I rebuked the Marauder in the end of combat step, which flipped my Thraben Sentry. Which of course led me to win that game. Of course, it was one of a whopping three games I won. I went 2-2 but was 3-4 in games with a bye. I 2-0'd my round 4 opponent who was playing mill by boarding out my splash color for some enchantment hate and racing his life with my deck. Not too shabby for a night that I didn't want to draft. I initially decided to rare draft, but then kept getting passed horrible, horrible rares, so I just couldn't bring myself to do it. __________________ *Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Facebook Me* *Logout- I had it first (second)!*

heh. It seems whoever made that thing was a good craftsman that was terrible at choosing a piece of wood to work with. I could be wrong tho, maybe they get to charge extra for the huge hole in it?

That peice of wood is called a burl and burls are hard to work with as the grain goes in many different directions. And while turning something on the lath if there is a hole its much harder to work with it... the tools get caught in them and the whole thing can shatter (I know because I had one do this and it flew off and smacked me right in the chest left a nice mark) People who buy this kind of thing like to see natual holes in the turnings and $350.00 is about the average price for something like this... I've seen turned things go for much more then this. I have a link if anyone wants it.
