I know this is going to sound like a dumb question but have you tried refreshing the page?

Yes sir I have.It doesn't sound dumb. I have a friend who used to run his own "computer help kinda stuff" business and I've heard some pretty solid stories. "Refreshing the page" is advanced level stuff.

Make sure that your browser is set to reload the page every time, if that doesn't fix it, your ISP is likely using a proxy server and caching the results. Try going to the end of the URL and adding a ? followed by a random character or two and see if that fixes it. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. What cards can search for a card from exile? I'm trying to figure out how that would be worded, particularly in the context of also searching other zones. Would an effect say "search all zones"? I only know of cards that would just specifically list each by name.

Sakashima's Student (10.00) and Baleful Strix (4.00-5.00/ea) Then you add in people like Ninja's, plus Ink-Eyes (6.00), and you get good value for a 20.00 deck. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

I'm not sure, but I think they changed the wishes so that you can't get stuff from exile anymore. 1. Do you notice a lot zendikar basics sitting in binders nowadays? 2. Is there any Avacyn restored cards for trade @ your LGS's? There is practically none where I'm at.

This is not true. The wishes allow you to retrieve a card from outside the game. Exile is a zone that is part of the game. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

1) A few people here have some in their binder 2) Everything but Bonfire of the Damned. That's why I made a new list for here and am willing to trade swords of WaP & FaF.

I don't notice alot of Zendikar basics in binders but considering they are worth as much as some rares its not surprising.__________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 11th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

It's correct that wishes no longer work.quote: Originally posted by thror: Pull From Eternity. Riftsweeper. Runic Repitition. All i can think of.
Hmmm, thanks. Only problem is these also fetch from other zones. What would be the correct wording for a card that says to "search your library, graveyard, exile, etc". Would it call it exile zone, or 'from exile'? Considering the wishes grab cards from sideboards... Say you wanted the card to grab something from the sideboard, but not from the rest of 'outside the game', is your whole collection. Would MTG rules ever say "Search your sideboard for a card" or "search for a card outside the game"? It's for custom card creation.

I think you should have looked @ how the wishes were printed, and their current oracle text. Because your statement tells me you haven't even bothered to do that. Here's Burning Wish: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=34403 In tournament play, 'outside the game' means 'your sideboard'. This way, we dont need extra wording just for casual play. If you are searching multiple zones, they need to be explicitly stated, ala Cranial Extraction: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=80281 So you would want "Search your X, Y, and exile zone for blahblah....." __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Would MTG rules ever say "Search your sideboard for a card" or "search for a card outside the game"?Ok, i worded that a bit wrong. I know what the wishes used to say and i know what they say now. The question above is "would rules ever say 'search your sideboard for a card'/'choose a card from your sideboard' or would it only say 'choose a card from outside the game'? Is that better? Do you understand now? In tournament play, 'outside the game' means 'your sideboard'. This way, we dont need extra wording just for casual play. I don't know what you read, but i think i clearly came off as understanding that much. Derrrr The distinction is, what if i wanted a card that could search the SIDEBOARD, but NOT your whole collection? I don't think MTG would ever mention sideboard, only 'outside the game', though in my case there is a distinction so i want to know if it's actually ok to say sideboard, or if i will have to go with 'outside the game'. So you would want "Search your X, Y, and exile zone for blahblah....." This, i know that if you search multiple zones, it lists them, though it never mentioned 'zones'. Only "search target players library, graveyard, hand". Any time MTG has mentioned being able to return a card from exile or outside the game, it has never said 'zone', but i am trying to figure out how i would mention exile. Runic Repetition says 'choose a card from exile' - what if runic repetition could also search your library and your hand and your graveyard and outside the game? They never say 'library zone' or any crap like that. I believe what i am looking for is "Return target exiled card to your hand, or search outside the game, your library, and graveyard for a card, reveal it, and put it into your hand". Would MTG say 'search" outside the game though? I take this kind of seriously actually and now that it's taken more than a minute to figure out i really want to know.

When is this relevant??? In Non Tournament (AKA CASUAL) games? Why would you want to force a sideboard onto a casual gamer?

To do it like this requires a valid target to even cast the spell. This is NOT what you want. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Wait why is THIS relevant?? It doesn't matter why i'm doing it >.> What if thought there was no place for a card to grab cards from YOUR WHOLE COLLECTION To your second part, it's supposed to be optional. "You may choose a land card you own from outside the game, target exiled land card you own, or search your library and graveyard for a land card. Put that land onto the battlefield, tapped." This is worded so there doesn't have to be a target? If you don't have one/don't want one you can search your library and graveyard, or nothing at all.

Shame I don't live in New England any more, would have have loved to deck his punk @#@. edit: We know it's the same Dombek because I had completed a search a while back for Dombek and that was the only one in that region. His picture matches similar top 8's.

It's hard to buy certain cards from MOTLers when eBay BIN has the card at $270 with additional Best Offer option, and a MOTLer wants $300 for his.__________________ MOTL Fantasy NBA 2010 ChampionYou know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help.
