Its not a supported format but I see plenty of people in the JFF room advertise for STD Pauper games.

I assume JFF is Just For Fun? I don't actually have MTGO but was considering it.

Yeah, JFF is Just For Fun, formerly "Casual Decks." They changed the name of the room to alleviate all the ****ing and moaning about "What is casual?"

I would absolutely recommend MTGO but I guess it does depend on what exactly you want to do on MTGO.

I think this is necessary to post....

a trader, name is mattjohnson1123, has a sales list up. It also has a buy list of cards that can be used as credit towards his sales. Keep in mind that credit list is his own values. So I make an offer of cards plus money for a differnt card. He says hed like more money in the transaction. It was 40 in value credit and $10 for a $50 card. So I respond back with half value in cards half cash. He replies back that he wants more in total value for the $50 card. So why post credit prices, or why post prices if you arent going to go by them? I feel like this is a prime example of someone people should avoid trading with and isnt someone who I value being a member of MOTL. I apologize if some think its harsh...I think its bad and shady trading practices.

Does Sig Confirmation from the USPS provide Delviery Conf. as well? I asked the post office person and they said that I did not need both.

So I just used sig con... was I correct and am I fully protected in the eyes of MOTL?

Or did I need to get DC too?

Just not too sure here guys

Yes, if you get signature confirmation, delivery confirmation is a complete waste of money. Signature confirmation by definition proves delivery.

I'm not sure it's the same thing.

And you should be more specific, because some of those "hard to move" foils you desire are also hard to get in trades. Unless you're trading cash (ie buying) of course.

I mean EDH stuff but not staples, like trying to get things like Foil Bosh as an example. He's worth $5 but very few people use him as a general so if i quit playing Bosh i just have a foil i pretty much can never trade away.

is it just me or is avr really just a horrible set to open? i got two boxes for doing some opening for an online dealer and what i got from the two boxes was 3 mythics in one and 5 in the second. is it just a crap randomization set that wizards changed to? the boxes i got for doing previous sets always had 6-8.

You should, on average, get 1 mythic per 8 packs. 36 packs in a box, divide by 8, gives you 4.5. So in actuality, you got 1 less than you should have. Boxes with 6-8 are rare/8 should basically never happen.

http://www.ebayisgreat.com - I am looking to start an ebay business with someone BADLY and hopefully WE'LL make money for years to come.

Please visit this website - I hope we can be business ebay partners and start something special. It requires AN effort on your part.

850-273-0103 (my cell) - Please call me if you are interested in selling my MTG beta Booster boxes on ebay today, if possible for $8k each on ebay.

My name is David - I have chosen you from CL because I need someone who don't mind starting up an ebay venture with me and then we'll make $10 million a year like Bill Gates !!!

D.R.N. PhD Harvard Univ.

P.S. I am only making $70,000 a year (Annual Salary) as a Physics professor at Harvard, and it is just not enough. I have only $20,000 in my bank and I cannot afford to buy anything of luxury value. I'm trying to make a living off of ebay. Please call me for more information. I want to be able to buy a house but I need to make legit money off of ebay like this.

The last 2 big sets (INN and AVR) have had really bad distribution. You can get some really good boxes or you can open 2 or 3 boxes and get crushed.

I don't know about anyone else's luck with AVR. I bought a box for $95, and flipped 7 cards from the box the next day for $115. No Temporal Mastery or Tamiyo, but I did get 3 Caverns of Souls.

Awesome! I just had to pass on a deal because someone with under 100 refs apparently feels that I can't be trusted to send first to.

I wouldn't trust you either. I mean Tillamook? Really? If you're going to make up a fake town don't use the name from your cheese!

Someone with less than 50 refs didn't want to send to me either. Oh well, there's more than one copy of the card in existence so I'm okay.

Which is hilarious because I'm sure I sent first to you 10 years ago in one of my first trades.

It's always been like that. I suppose that people think that if they are the first on your list they have the best chance of getting the good stuff, and when there are more posts they believe that all the good stuff has gone.

If you could make the title of your H/W list in foil you would attract scores of people.

depends what your goals are. if its just friends drafting, then you want to be as close to cost as you can. $9 and redraft rares or $13 and do 8-4 or 5-3-2-2. This is assuming a box split 8 ways.

If the motives are being a store and trying to stay in business, it really depends on the customer base. $10/$15 with the same prize structure is fair. That would let you charge $120 a box and be pretty fair. There is some wiggle room in there of course to go lower if you want to attract more people.
