I loved that deck running Tezzeret, AoB and The Abyss. Really awesome!

I just thought that mox diamond + crucible was cute. I'm not a huge fan of the abyss since its so slow, but chalice sure tears the current meta up.

I wish they would reprint imperial recruiter or make a similar version. I really want to play aluren in legacy, it has so much similarity to flash that I think it can definitely be a contender for a tier 1 deck. It smashes the current meta and it's so hard to hate, outside of crazy discard decks. But those stupid expensive recruiters!

Its pretty easy to hate, hence it being tier 2 or 3.

So I won a draft and got 8 packs, from the box I saw the following pulled: Sorin, Chandra, Garruk, Inferno Titan and Grave Titan. Now, knowing these cards have been pulled would you crack the 8 packs or no?

Nope, only shot you got is a Foil Rare/Mythic, maybe couple foil commons like Ponder, otherwise you probably lose.

Doubtful buddy. RUG Delver is pretty popular right now, and since that runs a counter-tops board, there's a good amount of Krosan Grips in boards right now. Plus, Maverick is very popular, and it has Pridemage that can be fetched with GSZ, so you'll have a hell of a time going off. Not to mention, TES and ANT are quite a bit faster and will beat you every time, which really is too bad because Aluren is a lot more fun than either of those.

Without the recruiters, we'll never know. The printing of gitaxian probe, helps alot. I don't think I have played against a really good maveric player yet, but from local testing, one pridemage isn't a problem. It only gets bad when there are multiples and I don't have a needle

No one likes losing to Leyline of the Helm. 99% of people don't even know it works the way it does it seems.

I'm glad they chose those guilds - better mechanics and better cards overall. I mean, the obvious choice would have been Rakdos vs Boros.

Needle stops wasteland, port and everything else relevant that revoker stops. I never want to have to tutor for a revoker and the revoker is a creature. If hardcast, two is a lot more than one. Anyway, this debate is moot since I don't have any recruiters
