*shrugs* depends what you're looking for I guess. A good 75% of my purchases are still made via MOTL. I stick to the people that have more than just a couple cards I need though so I save on shipping and get a pile of stuff at once. There's always been people thinking they can get retail values on stuff, but there's plenty of fine sales here.

Try Card Game playmat as a google search as i received many non-magic non-baby results.

What are the rules on if a package sits at the post office waiting for pickup and the person does not pick it up.

I have a package that's been waiting for pickup for 3 days by the recipient.

I had something like that happen one time. I sent it to Iceland and he didn't pick it up. The dude got really mad at me and would post stuff like "SEND MY CARDS NOW!!!! YOU HAVE MY CARDS!!!" on my h/w list daily. It got so bad I stopped having a regular list for a while.

It got returned to me. I sent him pics of the returned package with PO notices from Iceland. Afterwards, he apologized and I resent.

I had a guy BTA me because he was too dumb to pick up his undelivered mail. It came back to me, eventually. Then he got banned because he was a returning banned member. Hilarious.

I put Mana Cache in my commander deck thinking it would be a fun diplomacy card that could also grind the game to an end through mana burn ... and when I finally played it my friends informed me of the new rules

Drafted a sick BW deck in cube tonight (not the MTGO one). Sorin, Elspeth 1.0, Lili 2.0, Ajani 1.0 and a bunch of removal. Fun times1

Is there any hope that I could trade for the foils that I want for EDH from MOTL?

They are few enough on h/w lists that the search function doesn't churn up good results. Wouldn't mind helping someone get some Legacy staples but usually they only have a few foils at a time. PM's to purchase aren't met with responses often.

It seems once you get X trades on MOTL the well dries up for a while. Everyone's just trying to get xx Duals when less than half of h/w lists even have majority stuff over $5.

Some yes some no. I've ended up resorting to purchasing alot of them via stores but if they are a bigger foil over $5 its easy to get them on MOTL.

I kinda like the fact that whatever happens at FNM/midnight draft after FNM here, there's not going to be another one until the next Friday. That way I'm not going to chain pay $5-10 over and over because I rage at myself for losing and want to play more and redeem myself. And probably lose more.
