The fact that you have to work for it to get that big. And also the fact that it doesn't have evasion. Delver is not zoo. edit: Which deck in standard has the best MU across the board?

I don't really know what you mean by 'Delver is not Zoo'? You mean it is inconsistent about it's size and usefulness?__________________ Looking to buy any Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief oddities/pimp.My trades My sales

I don't have the Caverns, so I am opting for a different approach with those three sideboard slots. I also did that because of a new tendency for delver to change up between games to nuke my Wolf Runs. It gives me a third wolf run to their (hopefully) two ghost quarters, plus potentially gives me a second black source just in case, and I can use the Quarter to get a Moorland Haunt or opposing Wolf Run. What is your opinion of this, assuming I an using the entirety of your main deck build? __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

You should consider running Autumn's Veil in place of Cavern if you don't have them. They still allow you to try to force through spells through counterspells and they can be used to counter a Vapor Snag. The Woodland Cemetery and extra Wolf Run really aren't needed. I played another four rounds at FNM last night and for weeks, Ghost Quarter just has way too many targets to take them all out. I've only flashbacked Sever once; most of the time it plays like a Maelstrom Pulse. I'd go: -1 Woodland Cemetery -1 Kessig Wolf Run -1 Ghost Quarter +3 Autumn's Veil.

That's exactly what I mean. Delver and merfolk aren't about playing the biggest creatures possible, they're about playing the most cheapest and efficient creatures and also causing disruption with counterspells and stifle (in RUG delver's case)

But RUG's creatures are the BIGGEST creatures available! What is bigger than Nimble Mongoose & Insectile Aberration @ 1cc? What is bigger than Tarmogoyf @ 2cc?

But they're always guaranteed to be a 3/2 or 3/3 if you reach the criteria printed. They also have some form of evasion. The Trickster doesn't have any evasion. As for goyf, it's form of evasion is having higher toughness than other things

Where do I find a list of which magic sets were printed in which languages all the way back to beginning?

Give me a few minutes and I will measure one for you Edit: roughly 15"X8"X6". The 6 is a little high, but 15 and 8 are really close. 6 is the height and 8 is the width. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

Current, or old? It used to be a case had 2 layers of 3 boxes sitting flat, whereas now the boxes are on their sides in a row of 6. I assume you mean current, nor do I know if it even makes a difference, but thought I'd mention it.

Where are you getting your cases from? The ones I get are still 2 layers of 3 boxes flat.

Been coming across way too many posts with duals in the title but with only the SoM lands listed.

Thanks for the measurements. I'm trying to convince my wife that if I get a few cases of cards that it won't take up too much space. Now I can figure out how many cases I can easily store in the game room space that is available.

Anyone know of a seller(s) on MOTL that's likely to have a lot of korean standard stuff that I'm looking for?

Not really reliable. They don't have all languages a card was printed in listed.

Turn 2 Violent Outburst, cascade into Hypergenesis.Put Progenitus and Shardless Agent and Maelstrom Wanderer into play. Opponent puts 3x Wurmcoil Engine, Blightsteel, Spine of Ish Shah. WTF? That match was awesome.

If only I had LEDs. Oh well.I've been working on re-cataloging my collection lately. It's like a fun trip down memory lane, except I'm noticing a lot of cards that I don't have that I should. I don't trade out of playsets, but I guess that doesn't mean I never have... Like Trash For Treasure. I'm sure I had 4, and now I have 0. What I'm attempting to do is build a playset of cards that are modern legal. I'm further away than I thought I'd be, but I have the vast majority of the valuable stuff. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

Are there any other cards like Sylvan Library? Looking for re-usable top-of-library manipulation.Off the top of my head, I thought of: Mirri's Guile (one green) Sensei's Divining Top (one colorless) Scroll Rack (not the same, but it is top of library manipulation) Anything else? I'd rather not play green.

Crystal Ball isn't great, but it does manipulate the top of library.
